Perfect Score

Perfect Score

Complete a regularity rally stage with 0 penalty points.

How to unlock the Perfect Score achievement in EA SPORTS WRC - Definitive Guide

The goal in regularity rally is to drive close to the recommended speed limit without going too slow or too fast; allowing for you to pass the interval checkpoints as close to the timer as possible. You will be given penalty points for each second above or below the time goal. You will receive 0 points if you arrive +/- 0.500 seconds on either side of the timer, and you must do this for all 4 intervals to finish with 0 points (a perfect run).

Here are the settings I personally used to make it as easy as possible:
Quick Play > Solo > Create Regularity Rally
Vehicle Class: WRC - Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid
Location: Fanatec Rally Oceania: Route #05 - 4.4km

These settings are important as it offers the shortest and easiest route, with a grippy and reliable vehicle.

The recommended speed will be randomized between approximately 70-90kmh (43-56mph). If you prefer a slower target speed, quit and create a new championship.

I would recommend playing this as correctly as possible; by staying as close to the recommended speed limit as possible. It is better to go slightly too fast, as being too slow doesn't leave a lot of room for correction at the intervals. Play the circuit and pass the intervals as the timer approaches 00:00.000; speeding up or slowing down to adjust. Complete the circuit (lasting 3-4 minutes) with 0 points to earn the achievement.

Managed to get this on the shortest stage in Sweden in WRC2 Fabia. It would be a great challenge if not for the unreliable co-driver calls to increase/decrease pace. I usually play with mu HUD off but for this one it needed to on. Took me a solid 10+ attempts.

easy way to do it
Manual, stay in 2nd and redline it for most of the track that maka suggested, u can go to 3rd if ur a little behind but then drop back to 2nd gear

got it on my 3rd attempt, i did go a bit too fast at parts but as u can see from the clip, i managed it

I used the above and when I got a 79kmph target I remained in second gear until the final 10 seconds of a stage when I dropped down to first to allow me to better control speed. Great solution!!

68 kmh on my rally, so I didn't even need to shift gears. I was going over the limit and slowing down as I was about to hit the checkpoint. I was always around 0:00.00.

Thank you so much ❤️

You shouldn't if you follow the tournament setup exactly. Penalty points are sometimes given depending on the car class chosen.

Nice guide. Manual is definitely the easiest way to do it. Quick burst of speed at the start of each section and then just flatline it at whatever gear is close to the target speed (to create a small cushion of tkme) and slow down a bit just before the checkpoint to make sure you pass it at the right time. Was pretty easy this way.

Go to Quick Play -> Solo -> Create Regularity Rally
Select class NR4 -> stage Fanatec Rally Oceanica -> special stage #5 Taipuha
This section is quite straight and simple. I always drove a little faster than the navigator advised, exceeding it by 5-10 km/h. Approaching the end of the sector, there was a little extra time to slow down in order to cross the mark without a penalty. In the range of 0.400 seconds (either side of zero) I received no penalty points.
The car class may be different, but these cars have all-wheel drive and handle well (as the author of the video notes).
Please note that speeding will result in penalty points, just like stopping. So, if you arrive at the checkpoint too quickly, you won’t be able to wait until the timer reaches zero.

I’ll add to the above - take a mcrae r4 car and set the gearbox to manual shift. this car in stock at first speed goes to the floor at just ~ 65 km per hour - this is the average speed at which you need to pass this route
