World Rally Champion!

World Rally Champion!

Win a WRC Championship in Career mode.

How to unlock the World Rally Champion! achievement in EA SPORTS WRC - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement you need to win a season in WRC Rally1 Hybrid class.
I made a mistake of starting with WRC2 class and that didn't count for this achievement.

Pretty straight forward, but there are some trick which will speed up the grind. Start a new career and set the length to short. This will give you 12 events, each consisting of 2 shorter stages (around 4-8 minutes max). The maximum amount of points you can get from one event is 25. Keep that in mind as you can skip some events altogether if you have a healthy lead in the general leaderboard. Whenever there is a difference of more than 25 points between you and the second place driver, skip the next event (just let your team rest). I managed to skip 4 events and had enough points to beat everyone else.

Ignore everything else in the career mode. You don't need teammates nor extra staff. Also there is no need to buy more cars, as you'll be ignoring every event that is not the main Championship. Put the AI on low difficulty and Bob's your uncle. You don't need to use your custom built car, I drove the whole championship in vendor Puma.

does your club need to win or can you just as a driver win? these other two clubs seem to be kicking my butt despite me winning each event (assuming they have two drivers heavily stacked against me).

^^ I’m sure you figured it out by now but you only need to win the driver championship, not the team one.

Just a quick note, since patch 1.4 the Central European Rally has been added to the roster, thus making it the 13th event in the career mode to participate in.

To make this more simple you only need to beat the competitions that your benefactor sets as season goals you will see the progression meter fill as the season goes on and at the end of a season if you've met the required benefactor tasks which you should of this will make it go up significantly to progress you need to do all benefactor tasks in junior wrc then wrc 2 once they are complete you only need to beat the 13 events in wrc enabling you to miss the other benefactor events side note each event has 2 races so 13 wrc events each containing 2 races equalling 26 races for that series if down voted please let me know why and I'll change the description
