To do this, you're basically going to want to abuse the save feature. You can save at any point in the game, so, if you die, just exit and reload your save until you reach Ridge Water.
Ridge Water is the 6th level of the game, 7th if you include the starting area as a level.

Reach the Ridge Water level without dying. Use the save method mentioned in Undercaves Survival and it shouldn't be a problem.
