Very simple - just look on the map for white question marks, they show areas of interest.
The puzzles are usually simple & there is no penalty if you need to restart, so just take your time and observe which floor panels unlock what doors and plan your path.
But also thinking this achievement might be glitched too - only remember solving two puzzles in the Herelsor region before it popped!

it looks like there are two story related puzzles (really simple ones) before you reach the herelsor region that count towards the achievement so that's probably why you only remember doing 2.

Puzzles in this game are the large tower-like sctructures in the world. Interacting with the pedastal in these locations will start the puzzle, and you have a limited amount of time to complete them. You will have two characters that you need to move in specific ways to complete the puzzle and access the treasures at the end. Later puzzles will have electrified spaces that you can only use once or your character will die upon stepping on the hex a second time.
