Story related during chapter 3, cannot be missed.
During the fight keep Daryon back towards the horde of enemies coming from the back and have the other two attack the Conclave from a distance so it can't hurt them. Watch out for tentacles, and make sure to keep Daryon healed (either with healing items or Spring). I got close to failing on Nightmare difficulty but managed to win a couple turns after Daryon finally fell.
