How to unlock the Unbeknowst Masters achievement in Edge of Eternity - Definitive Guide

In Chapter 5, while in the Elysian Fields, you can start this quest line from an unnamed swordsman. They are located north of the ship carcass on a hill.

The first quest requires you to collect tokens by completing the bonus goals in combat. I'm not sure if the quest has to be active for this to work, but I didn't gain any until I made it active. Also, each fight's bonus goal doesn't always offer a token.

The second quest will have you killing a corrupted honey, using just Daryon. This can be difficult as the main enemy will spawn more honeys, though these are much weaker than the normal ones.

Finally you fight the unnamed swordsman, using just Daryon again. I completed this in Ch. 6 and the fight was very easy.

You'll know if the bonus goal counts towards the 10 tokens if it is a picture of a green orb

This achievement can be a little cumbersome. You will start thi quest "Unbeknownst Masters" in Elysian Fields, on your way toward the Vanguard high up on a hill from the Nameless Swordsman. To make progress in the first quest, you MUST be following it as your active quest or the challenges will not offer the proper reward. When following the quest, sometimes your battle objectives (the ones such as win a battle without healing, without dying, without a certain character taking damage, etc) will reward Tokens of Prowess instead of regular items or money. Not every objective will change, so just flee from battles if the tokens aren't available or the objective seems too difficult (such as killing two enemies with one attack if you're on Nightmare difficulty which I found annoying). You can return to Inel Harbor area for very quick and easy fights.

Once you have collected all ten tokens, return to the Nameless Swordsman and receive the second part of the quest. In this part, head to the marked location to defeat a Honey Pot mini-boss, but unfortunately this is a solo fight with Daryon. The slime enemies are very resistance to physical attacks, so use Defense Breaker with Daryon if you have it, and be sure to have the Bold Opening attack which can hit every enemy on the same hex. The Honey Pot will continually spawn smaller enemies, so killing those to keep their damage output low is important. I'd also suggest bringing Ambrosia items which will double Daryon's HP for 10 turns, allowing you to tank some of those hits from the smaller enemies when necessary. Fire Bombs can also be a nice item to get off some extra DPS and kill the adds as well. This is a tough fight on Nightmare, but doable with the setup above.

Return to the Nameless Swordsman once more for the final part of the quest, which is yet another solo battle with Daryon against the Swordsman himself. This battle is much easier though, especially if you have a high Speed stat and the Shadow Step attack. You can use Defense Breaker first if you want, but it should be necessary. Use Shadow Step for a critical hit and to position yourself behind him. With your high speed, you should get off at least two more turns for two backstab critical hits. After he attacks, repeat that process to keep dishing out the damage and he'll go down in no time. After the battle, you've finished surpassed the master and will unlock this achievement.
