I have just unlocked this and there was a lot of confusion in regards to the controls

It's actually LB+RS click to get control of the keeper
Then move him as far away as possible and fire away with half a bar of power
Achievement should unlock during the celebrations

This can be done with two controllers. The second profile should foul the main profile 25m out (there is an indicator of distance when you take a free kick) just to the right hand side of the D if you free kick taker is right footed.

Then aim so the second defender in the wall is in line with the post, use 50-65% power and hold if a right footer or if a left footer. Holding the direction button will curl the ball towards the goal, we are aiming for as close to the post as possible while being on target.

It took me a few times to find the right combo of power and placement.

25m is just over 27 yards. The easiest way to see if you are far enough away is to look at the lines on the pitch. Each strip is 6 yards, the penalty area is 18 yards, so you want to shoot from at least two more lines away.

Best to do this with two controllers. Use your dummy account to foul the attacker. On the free-kick, press + (LB + RS in) to control the goalkeeper. Move him away from the goal and shoot with the attacker. Depending on location and angle, just over 50% of the power bar will be enough to hit the open goal. My shot deflected off the wall and still counted. Don't have to worry about aiming, just get it up and over the wall with the right power.

EDIT: not sure how people are having issues controlling the keeper. Maybe there is a bug. Here's a video of someone showing these controls on action, at the 1-minute mark:

This method does require 2 controllers.

For those who don't have a spare controller, you can do the following:

1. Start an Authentic Team match against the CPU;
2. Select two sides with decent set piece takers, say England vs Argentina;
3. Set the difficulty to the hardest;
4. During the game, foul the opposition player a few metres from the edge of the box, pause the game and switch sides so you get to take the FK;
5. Repeat until you score from over 25m.

It did take a few tries to me, but I managed to score a 31m FK with Trippier (England RB) against Argentina;
