Fairly simple one this, from the main menu:
1. Master League
2. New
3. Club team lineup
4. Pick your team
5. Choose your manager appearance
6. Enter manager settings
7. Change any desired settings
8. Set your goals
9. Meet the press
10. Once in the main hub press
to access messages
11. Achievement should pop
This should take no less than 2-3 minutes depending on load times and how long you spend on your answers before you get to the main hub. Please note in steps 4-9 you can pick anything. It could be as simple as continually just tapping
until you reach the hub menu.

ML doesnt appear to be unlocked as a game mode upon start. How do you unlock?

I’m not sure if they have changed it via Game Pass but this mode was unlocked when I started playing the game.
