Most straight forward method is below but it requires two controllers.
Game Mode: Versus
Select a team with a decent free kick taker or a team with 5 stars (Liverpool or Manchester B) and a weaker team as your opposition.
Achievement
Once the game has started dribble the ball with controller 1 about half way into the opposing team's half. Using controller 2 foul controller 1. Once you win a free kick your distance will show up in the top right corner - Make sure this is 25m or further.
Switch to the goalkeeper with Controller 2 by pushing LB and CLICKING the right stick. This will give controller 2 control over to the Goalkeeper and then just move the keeper right away from goal.
Using Controller 1, take the free kick and score. Which will be easy as the net is now wide open. Once the ball goes in then your achievement will unlock.

I was following CheevoGuides video and struggling to get this.
What I found was it is much easier to score from further away as there are less players in the wall & less chance of a deflection. You almost pass it into the goal when you hit the power bar about half way.
