How to unlock the A Distinguished Theater achievement in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Definitive Guide
This is done at the theater, which has several prerequisites
* Upgrade castle to level 3, requiring 100 food, 4 excellent laquer, 46 allies and 18160 funds (unsure if it's level 2 or 3 for the theater so putting 3 to be safe)
* Recruit Martha, Huang, Kurtz and Clarke (Caine and Goteau are also required but are automatically recruited)
** Martha can be found in the eastern side of the fortress town
** Huang is in Hishahn near the appraisal shop (may require defending Hishahn before he'll appear) then catch a wheel-eyed bream, which can be found in Seaside Cavern or just southwest of Seaside Cavern, lucky charm on Nowa recommended
** Kurtz is also in Hishahn, and requires the grilled tutuva recipe from the Treefolk Village. The NPC with the recipe only spawns after talking to Kurtz
** Clarke is in Ardinale City. Visit the city as Nowa, talk to him then buy the Star-Cross'd Lovers script from the city's tool shop. It's a rare spawn that has a chance to appear every 10 minutes apparently
* Build or buy the following buildings/upgrades: Pasturage, Fishing Spot, Fishing Spot Product 1, Mission Guild, Mission Party 1, Mission Task 1, Theater (costing 20 lumber, 2 mystic lumber, 1 iron ore, 130 pelts, 900 food, 1 dire beastbone and 21020 funds)
Next, recruit the following actors for the play:
* Jorhan (find him in Hishahn then kill scarabs in the desert near Dabavin for strange artifact drops. Get them appraised until you find a yellow censer to show Jorhan), Leon (find him by the western entrance to the town and talk to him), Marisa (story recruitment), Janquis (story recruitment)
Cast them as narrator, Romeo, Juliet and Father Lawrence respectively and button mash through the text (or watch the play, your choice) and you should get an S ranking at the end. There are other combinations that work (apparently Valentin and Seign also work for Romeo or the narrator) so if you're getting unlucky with recruiting Jorhan there's probably others that can replace him. Those 4 are what worked for me

I just got this with the RED RIDING HOOD SCRIPT. Cast as follows:
NARRATOR: Seign
RED RIDING HOOD: Marin
WOLF: Garr
HUNTSMAN: Wyler
GRANDMOTHER: Lam
There are a few things I noticed that helo yoy recognise if you did it:
1)You can somewhat tell if a person is right for the role by how they speak - they will be flat and it sounds like they are putting no.effort in, or are confused.
2) the audience reactions have hearts in if you achieve the S rating.
Good luck!

Once you've built the theatre in your castle, you can get this achievement right away. It only requires a single script, which is also required to recruit Clarke (the Star-Crossed Lovers script) - this is all outlined in the Neoseeker walkthrough of course. Once you've built the theatre, go there and begin a production of Star-Crossed Lovers and choose the following characters to play the parts:
- Narrator: Jorhan
- Romeo: Leon
- Juliet: Marisa
- Father Lawrence: Janquis
