Some notes:
* Aleior: Recruit Aleior ASAP. Once you get Marisa, return to the castle and talk to her on the 1F. If the story advances too far, the trigger for initiating the recruitment line may be skipped, meaning Aleior is lost for that playthrough. Also, Aleior needs to be recruited before Marisa leaves for Castle Harganthia, because once she leaves she's unable to return until after the Lenne checkpoint and she's required to recruit the griffin
* Foxiel: She becomes available between two setpieces. After Yarnaan falls, she appears, but starting the Battle of Athrabalt will put the city in a state where regular NPCs (including Foxiel) disappear. She apparently returns afterwards while the city's occupied, but still better safe than sorry and it's a 5 minute detour anyways
* Reyna: Her recruitment quest is tighter than it should be. She must be reduced to half health within two turns, not the stated three
Patched:
* Riufan: Finish Seign's set piece in Ardinale/Marisa's set piece at Castle Harganthia before recruiting Riufan or there's the potential for a nasty softlock. Due to the way Riufan is recruited, the party is reduced to just Nowa before being reset, and I believe the battle also clears Seign's/Marisa's party but then doesn't restore it with no way to edit the team, causing an infinite loop of instantly dying in battle.
* Lam: Riufan needs to be recruited and in the party before she can be recruited. Due to a bug, her recruitment fails if her conversation counter is higher than 0, though this may be only before recruiting Riufan. There is a patch, but Xbox is going to be the last to receive it. What happened for me was I recruited Ruifan, went to talk to Lam with Riufan in the party, then went to talk to him in the castle's pub to trigger her recruitment, so she may still be recruitable if you accidentally talk to her

Is there a way to get Leene if
?
From Markus Castle til , I couldn't add Marisa to Nowa's team to finish a few recruitment (like CJ).
I just have to get a few recruits (6 I think and Leene)

I got sick of having to juggle lots of tabs on my phone and struggling to keep track of the ridiculous amount of collectables in this game, while also discovering that some sources had a lot of missing, incomplete, hard to read and in some cases wrong information.
So I decided to do the reasonable thing and combine everything into a spreadsheet for all achievement-related collectables in this game. As always, this will be view only, so make a copy to your OneDrive and edit to your hearts content. I built the sheet for myself and will use this pretty exclusively to achieve 1000G - so if something is missing in there {and I don't have the achievement yet} please let me know. I will also be adding my own notes if I feel the information isn't enough.
The only one you will want to keep track of during your playthrough is the Recruits, as they'll help you for various things throughout the story, and having all recruits branches out into the other achievements (Card battles, Runes etc).
Once I've 1000G'd the game I'll edit this guide so that it's known that no further edits are planned.
If something isn't in this sheet, then it's because it either has a not-so-awkward check-list in game (Card Battles, Chests) and I felt that I didn't need it in the sheet, or it does not need a complete set to do and can just b done quickly (Hero Combos), or because I simply didn't know about it :)
As far as I know there are no missable collectables. It is recommended not to specifically go after most of these side achievements until either late in the game. You can also load a cleared save to wrap up achievements, access all areas etc etc, without having to start a new game.
Let me know if you have further suggestions. Otherwise, enjoy!

- In the sheet, in the Mission column I've numbered each recruit in the order that I personally came across them (some are likely possible sooner if you backtrack significantly or whatever, but I generally didn't see the point in a lot of those). If you follow my checklist perfectly, you will not miss any recruits accidentally. Use the "Joins automatically through story progression." as 'checkpoints' - ie if you're missing any Recruits before you reach one of these, then prioritse them in case you can't get to them for a long time for story reasons.
- The only ones I skipped passed in my list are the ones marked "HOLD". These ones can be spoken to at that point of the game, but have some kind of requirement before they actually join your party. Feel free to trigger their 'quest line' but do not prioritize recruiting them at this point; often it's significantly harder to do so and you'll spend *way* more time and get *way* more frustrated getting them recruited at that point in the story than if you just came back later and blitzed through their quest line. This is especially true with Dr. Corque, who you come across near the beginning of the game. Just ignore recruiting him until you're much much *much* further. I have marked where the absolute last point in the story is that everyone needs to be recruited by with a big, red, bolded, capitalized "RECRUIT ALL OF THE ABOVE BEFORE CONTINUING".

Achievement Specific Notes
- Without getting too spoilery, there is technically only 1 missable character in the game; Aleior, but not recruiting Aleior will cause one character to not turn up near the end, which in turn causes another character to disappear from the story and permanently screwing you out of multiple achievements (All Recruits, All Card Battles, All Weapon Upgrades etc etc) as a result - SO DON'T MISS THIS CHARACTER. You can first recruit them when you reach the mission "To Norristar, the Western Nation". I've marked them clearly in the spreadsheet as well.- In the sheet, in the Mission column I've numbered each recruit in the order that I personally came across them (some are likely possible sooner if you backtrack significantly or whatever, but I generally didn't see the point in a lot of those). It is possible to recruit Aleior if missed, without starting a NG+
I have already completed the story and was doing achievement cleanup when I moved Marisa to an attendant spot in my party. I noticed that this made her appear on the first floor in the HQ and I was able to speak to her about "the griffon."
I don't know if you need to move Maria back into the main party, but I did. Then I headed to Altverden then into the Abandoned Mines.
So far I am unable to recruit Leene, as it appears that post game has progressed too far to be able to revisit the victory speech. However, it may still be possible to reload a previous save point and recruit both Aleior and Leene this way.

Basically if you reach the point in my sheet where I marked without all of the previous recruits, and you don't have a save from that point or before, then you need a new playthrough.

For this achievement, I'll once again point to the Neoseeker walkthrough that I linked in the Road Map. The big check to this achievement is that it requires you to have 114 characters recruited prior to a specific point in the story, which is mentioned multiple times in the walkthrough, and there are a few characters that can possibly be missed permanently (a few have been fixed in patches, but I think Aleior is still required to be recruited before a separate, earlier story event as well). It's best just to follow along with the walkthrough than try to read a guide that has all 120 characters listed out individually, so I'll avoid that lengthy mess here.
There is only one missable character and that is leene. You must collect everybody else before facing the Dux army after finishing clearing the Revenant king Markus' castle as part of the storyline. The fortune teller will show you everyone that remains to be collected and give hints how to find them. Take your time there's no rush as long as you don't rush the story you won't miss Leene.

Actually there's 3 - it's possible to miss Lam and Aleior due to game-breaking bugs (talking to Lam before starting her recruitment breaks it and Aleior's recruitment trigger can be skipped by advancing the story too far). These bugs can be averted by a) recruiting Ruifan and talking to him in the castle pub before talking to Lam and b) returning to the castle as soon as Marisa is recruited and talking to her on the first floor to trigger Aleior's recruitment (seems once she moves to the second floor the game stops the recruitment script). On a more minor note, Reyna's recruitment quest is also bugged, making it tighter than it should be (the game currently considers being on turn 3 of her fight a failure state instead of the end of turn 3)
There is a patch coming for Lam and it may be the bug only affects Lam's recruitment before recruiting Ruifan (pretty sure I forgot to talk to him in the pub, took him with me and talked to Lam, but was able to recruit her as normal later)

This guide was translated automatically.
In the game, the easiest way to track is to recruit the seer. She is located in the Village of Dafan and build her a shop in the city. For a modest fee, you can find out from her which heroes can be recruited at a given plot moment and approximately where to look (there, however, appears Lin quite early, but more on her below).

At the moment this achievement, and some related ones, cannot be obtained on xbox series x. (same problem on pc) While going through reed's storyline, through the beigoma minigame, the game systematically crashes for no reason when trying to talk to zeph.
By JetCeller on 06 Jun 2024 03:54
The game crash can be fixed by simply changing the game language in the main menu and going through the problematic area in English.
