honestly do not know, for I finished all the challenges first and then I play the Cup! I do not know if there is a glitch!

I've heard some people complaining about the same error, do not know why it happens to some and not to others!

That's a shame ... another reason for this game not sell so many! I hope the producers resolve!

This achievement (and “the whole neighborhood”) has glitched on me too even though I have completed all the criteria to unlock it.

What happened to me is after winning the 6th cup (Mr. Beliarge Cup) in platinum the "Rent Collected" achievement unlocked and the game auto-saved. Then you get a podium cut-scene before it shows you the character you've just unlocked. The game then auto-saves again. What happened is my game froze after the first auto-save just before the podium cut scene causing me to reboot my console.

Unfortunately the character unlock is a one time deal when you first complete the cup in gold or better and as the game sees that you've already completed the cup no matter how many times you complete the cup again you will never unlock the character.

This is obviously a major flaw in the auto-save system and to make matters worse it is not possible to simply delete your save and attempt again as the game save is imbedded in your Gamertag / profile.

I have contacted the developers (contact@efectostudios.com) numerous times about this issue but they never reply.
