How to unlock the Ancestor Spirit achievement in ELDEN RING - Definitive Guide
Video at the bottom if that's your preference!!
You need to find the Siofra River Well, which is East of the starting area, through the Mistwood. Make your way to the Siofra River Bank grace site and you're going to be looking for eight obelisks with braziers at their base to light on fire. The first brazier is directly ahead of you and within sight of the building you'll go to later to fight the boss.
The second brazier is to the North-West of the first one. Go into a chasm-type area with several spirit beasts and fight your way to the back to find it.
The third brazier is between the two broken bridges, in the middle of the lake area. There are a few spirits here, including one with a bow that deals heavy damage.
The fourth brazier is directly East of the third one, with a convoy of spirits and three more spirits at the brazier in the way.
The fifth brazier is on a small hill to the North West of the third one, past the second broken bridge. There are three spirits waiting here.
The sixth brazier is East of the fifth one, next to two electric orbs that shoot electricity at you then disappear. You can hide behind the rock next to the brazier for safety.
The seventh brazier is past the next site of grace on your right on the main path. There are two spirits and three rats guarding it.
The eighth/final brazier is West of the seventh one on a hill. There are two spirits, three rats and one giant rat guarding it.
After lighting each brazier, a message will appear saying power has gathered elsewhere, which is in that building by the River Bank site of grace. Go into that building and interact with the burned entity to be teleported to an arena.
The boss itself is fairly easy and simple. It only has a handful of attacks. It can shoot fire from its mouth straight down, in a line toward the player, and it can jump up and shoot it in a semi-circle pattern. It can use its head as a weapon by swinging at the player once or twice, depending on the player's distance. It can also charge the player to close distance and swipe with its head. If the player is too close in front of the spirit, it will try to stomp on the player. If the player is too close behind the spirit, it will try to kick the player from behind.
That's pretty much it. Use summons if you like to distract/pull aggro from yourself so you can get plenty of damage in unopposed.

This boss it's located in the underground map. Entering from Siofra River Well, you have to make your way until you reach the next section, Siofra River Bank, (the one with a beautiful purple-blue starry sky). While you are in this area you have to explore it and light all the fires (8 in total). If you do this, you can head up the steps near the first site of grace of this place and face off with the boss interacting with the deer/stag creature there, who will teleport you to the boss fight. The boss it's weak to fire.

The Ancestor Spirit is the main boss of the
The battle is pretty straight forward, although it helps to have a weapon with some range in order to make sure you can hit all parts of the spirit's body. Important thing is to not be greedy and only try to get a single hit after each of his counterable attacks. He'll often follow up with kicks or slams if you stay underneath him, so roll away after your attack and wait for the next opening.
Attacks:
- Jumping Magic Breath: Just back away and avoid the glowing fire
- Walking Magic Breath: If you are underneath him, you can get a couple of good swings, but otherwise just move away
- Jumping Slam: He'll do two hops then pause and slam, roll towards him right before the slam and get in one hit.
- Direct Charge: Roll through his antlers, might be able to get one hit in. Usually follows up with a rear kick.
- Side swipe combo: roll under his legs once or twice and then try to get a couple hits in. This is an annoying attack if you stay in front, but he stops the combo as soon as you are under him.
- Slam: Roll right before he comes down, probably time for one hit.

On the outskirts of the foggy forest there is a building called “River Spring of Siofra”; we take the elevator in this building to go down. After the second elevator, at the Siofra River location you need to light a flame at eight pillars, after which you can go beat the boss.

Glitchy trophy. Killed the boss, popped up in the corner of the screen - received the “Ancestor Spirit” trophy. In fact, I go to trophies, but it is listed as not received.

Same problem. On XsX. I killed the boss, they gave me the ashes of the ancestor worshiper, but the trophy itself did not drop.
