Thank you you’re right, fixed! I wanted to give some relatively spoiler free guidelines and brief location descriptions so people can go in blind and find everything at their leisure since only one is truly missable on a single playthrough.

Damn it I can't get the bolt of gransax sonce i already beat the game and post game.
So do i need to have all 9 at once? Or is it just "obtained them at any point"

Anyone willing to help me with that one? Really don't wanna do another playthrough for literally 1 item! Or anyone able to just drop all of them so I can pop it? I'll honestly take either option. I didn't think any would be missable

^ i can’t help you as i missed it too and haven’t started my NG+ run yet but FYI your items carry over so as long as you grab it in NG+ with same character it should pop

I missed the Bolt of Gransax on my first play through so I started NG+ got it and the achievement wasn't popping so I started moving some of the legendary armaments into the chest and on my second move it popped for me so give that a try...

The suggestion to put all Legendary Armaments in a chest was brilliant! Achievement didn't pop for me right away, so I started doing this and it came through after putting the second weapon away!

I got the Grafted Blade Great Swors early game and sold it. I have all others and tried moving the chest and also dropping and picking up. Still not popping.

You probably need to have them all on you at once so because you sold it you’ll need to get it again in NG+

Also had this not work for me, popping them in the chest triggered it on the 7th chested item, thank you!

Worth noting that I missed Bolt of Gransax 1st play through and grabbed it NG+

All 9 weapons in chest...still no achievement. Any suggestions?

@IL1971 try moving them all from chest to inventory a few times, if that doesn’t work you have have to hard reset your Xbox and try it again. If that doesn’t work I’m not sure I’ve not heard of anyone being permanently locked out of this on any platform

I got all of them then had to put one in a chest didn't matter which one. Once I did that achievement popped

I had them all in the chest and no luck. Started taking them out and it popped as soon as the Grafted Greatsword moved into my inventory.

Felipe is right, I missed 2 weapons on my first game, then get the 2 in my ng+ but the achievment does'nt pop, so I started put all the Legendary weapons in the chest and it pop on the fifth

For the Bolt of Gransax, I think you have can get until you have defeated

I missed Bolt of Gransax but got the achievement when I got Golden Order Greatsword because a friend left his Bolt on the ground for me to pick up and drop earlier in the same playthrough. It must tick off as held, regardless of whether you earn it.

Putting some legendary weapons in the chest worked for me as well. I've put about 7 in the chest before the achievement unlocked. Game updated with patch 1.04.1 on Xbox One.

Yeah, you either have to have them in your inventory or in the chest; not mixed.

I put the Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight fight on hold because I wasn't strong enough yet and cleared the Academy instead. After defeating Rennala, the Misbegotten/Crucible boss was removed from my game along with every enemy in Redmane castle to make room for the Radahn festival story event. Not sure if it's a bug but it made that legendary weapon missable for me because the boss was not replaced even after defeating Radahn.

You can talk to the NPC in the church there until he leaves and then reset at the Site of Grace and you’ll be able to fight the boss after Radahn

The same thing happened to me, which NPC and which church should I talk to to release the Boss?

Redmane Castle. There is the church at the top where you entered to get to the lift to the Radahn fight. The executioner will be in there and you have to exhaust his dialogue so he moves somewhere else. That will revert Redmane back to its previous state and add the enemies again, including the bosses needed for the legendary

Regarding the ruins greatsword. Once you finish Ranni´s quest, the boss fight will be back there, so dont worry.

I didn't know that Burnhal had a drop that important and continued his questline past the Volcano Manor. Idk where he's at after he left that place now though,

You get invaded by him at Farum Azula. Fast travel to the Behind the Great Bridge site of grace and once you get to the set of stairs where right heads to the boss, take the left. You'll eventually find a ladder you can climb down and this path leads to a chest. You should get invaded by him here.

But you have to kill him before killing Maliketh. After the city is ash he stops invading. Learned it the hard way

The guy that drops the scepter has a few extras for later quests, but I don't care for the invader quest. Is there anything missable if I kill him before he goes to Volcano Manor?

For anyone not getting invaded by Burnhal, make sure you talk to him again in Volcano Manor after killing Rykard and before killing Maliketh. He should be gone and his sword should be all that is there.

I'm not getting invaded by Bernhal in Azula. I completed all the Volcano Manor quests and I also talked to Bernhal multiple times in the manor, including after killing Rykard. He's gone from the manor and only his sword is left. No idea why he won't invade. I guess I'll have to get the weapon he drops on NG+.

To clarify, the point of no return for missing the missable weapon is killing Malekith?

Correct, that's what triggers the world change. It also seems to be what stops Bernahl from invading you at Farum Azula.

Chest method worked

It seems to track so long as you possessed it - You DO NOT need to have them on hand or in your chest for the achievement.

This achievement didn't pop for me even though I owned every weapons. What did the trick was to drop(Leave in game) my Devourer's Sceptre and pick it back up! Hope this helps someone

FYI, I only talked to Burnhal at Volcano Manor (Did not complete any of the side quests there) and he invaded me at Farum Azula. I still had Malekith alive and made sure to kill Rykard at Mt. Gelmir.

ok so for BOLT OF GRANSAX you spawn at Golden Godfrey's point of grace, then go outside and down the elevator. down the stairs past the two white robed guys. then along your left there is a fence. There is a spot with a tiny break in the fence that you can jump over - jump down below where you see the gigantic spear (that's like building sized). You'll land on a platform. Then walk up the spear and pick up the item.

if you are pulling your hair out trying to find the bosses for the ruin great sword, first beat Rahdohn and then speak to the festival announcer. Return to the grace point and rest (I had to rest twice) then a fog gate will be at the gathering area.

Can confirm you do not need to have all weapons on your person at one time: I dropped several of them for a friend and lost them completely, he didn’t even get to pick them up. After I got the last one the achievement still popped.

I gotta question if anyone want to confirm it. So I beat the game 2 times. I miss both of these missable weapons. If I do the next playthrough and pick up the 2 weapons I miss do I get the achievement or do I have to do it again or drop the weapons and pick it up m?? What should I do

If its not popping for you, try dropping and picking up each one individually. That worked for me, here's a list:
Ruins Greatsword
Eclipse Shotel
Grafted Blade Greatsword
Sword of Night and Flame
Marais Executioner's Sword
Dark Moon Greatsword
Devourer's Scepter
Golden Order Greatsword
Bolt of Gransax

I can confirm that you need to drop them and pick them up again.And if you missed Bernhal before the final boss, he invaded me just before I picked up the Old Man's Talisman in Crumbling Faran Azula after I had defeated the Elden Beast.

Wasn't popping till I tried what was suggested by dropping & picking the weapons up one by one. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh my god, threw them all in the chest and it popped on the 9th one deposited before withdrawing. LV Drejz method works. Make a notation to this guide and I will thumbs up!

I just got the achievement, Benrnahl invaded me in Azula eventhough I had killed Maliketh. It seems that the patch changed his invasion conditions.

got it to pop by sorting them in and out of the chest one by one. thanks for the help!

Added the chest and dropping/picking up methods in the guide

Switching the items into my chest at a site of grace worked for popping the achievement for me. Worth noting that I'm pretty sure you can only have 8 items on the ground at any time, so if you're going for the drop and pick up method then make sure you don't drop them all at once. Personally I think the chest is an easier option so try that first. And as others have said - Bernahl will now still invade after patch 1.03 so this is no longer misable.

Thought the devourers sceptre was missable. But I got the invasion!

But now the Bolt of Gransax is actually missable.

Just so everyone knows, I got all 9 and achievement didn’t pop. Then I got all the ones I had in chest into my actual inventory and achievement unlocked, so don’t sell the weapons or give them away until it’s popped otherwise you’ll have to get them again next playthrough.

Same thing for me Rhynozerker! I had quite a big panic!!!

got the Golden Order Sword as my last one. No pop. I used Leave on the Devourer's Scepter, and then picked it up and the achievement popped.

The achievement popped up as soon as I put all 9 weapons into the chest. Maybe this helps.

I’d like to add that Bernahl invaded me even after killing the black blade.

Added that Bernahl will now invade even after killing Maliketh. This now just makes the Bolt the only missable legendary weapon

I just ran a speedy NG+ to get the Bolt of Gransax. Got a bit worried as the achievement didn't pop straight away. Had to go to a Grace Site and take all the other Legendary Armaments out of the chest and into my inventory for the achievement to register.

Also didn't pop for me. Thanks to the above commenters for suggesting moving them to and from the chest at a grace site. That worked!

Yeah, moving them around in and out of the chest made it unlock.

How fast can you grab Bolt in NG+?

Pretty fast, but you still need 2 Great Runes to access Leyndell AFAIK. You can skip a lot in the capital and get it through some tricky roof jumps though.

I just need the bolt, not feeling going into NG+ to get it. Hopefully I'll get someone to drop it for me and get it like that.

Got 'em all, but no cheevo. Used advice from the original post and started moving all weapons into storage box then it popped, thanks TA and this community 😊👍✌️

Dropped sword of night and flame and picked back up: achievement popped. I think that was the first one I got.

I tried dropping the grafted great sword but it vanished. Guess it's NG+for me for this one.

Edit. Nevermind it popped when I moved the ruind greatsword to the chest.

Is anyone able to drop Bolt of Gransax for me? Last Armament I need and I'm currently in-game. Didn't realize it was missable til now :(

I had to leave and pickup nearly all 9 of these before it popped, so I think it might just be sort of random which ones the game doesn’t realize you have. At least it was an easy fix.

Is the Ruins Greatsword missable if you follow Rannis quest and get the tournament to start before killing the boss of the castle?

@SquiggleBucket No, I did Ranni's quest first and went to the castle. Speak to the guy in the church at the top, then reload the area and you should be able to do the bosses. I believe that's what I had to do, to be able to do that boss.

Thanks for the advice about how to fix it if it's broken. I opted to go to my inventory and "leave" them one by one, but it popped on the second one I did this with. The culprit was the grafted greatsword.

After missing the Gransax weapon on my first playthrough, I started a new game plus, Killed godrick and the space chick renna or whatever, got to leyndell and rushed to the spear. Took about 1-2 hours, give or take a few depending on how well you know the area, and I rushed through everything, only killing bosses.

DO NOT KILL THE LAST BOSS IN CRUMBLING FARUM AZULA IF YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE BOLT OF GRANSAX OR BURNHAL'S SCEPTRE OR YOU WILL MISS THIS ACHIEVEMENT.

As soon as you get inside the Capital City, watch a guide on how to acquire the Bolt of Gransax, this is missable but very easy to attain. It sits in the middle of the capital and can be picked up off of the ground with minimal resistance. This guide will focus on the invasion location of Knight Burnhal.

To find Burnhal, make sure you have completed all the steps of his questline and only his sword remains in his chair at Volcano Manor.

The next time you see him will be in Crumbling Farum Azula, after the "Beside the Great Bridge" site of grace. This is almost at the very end of the biome and will be your sixth or seventh site of grace that you will unlock (if you don't miss any.)

Travel to or reach the "Beside the Great Bridge" site of grace in Crumbling Farum Azula. Walk forward up the small set of stairs and turn left and follow the longer set of stairs that hugs the wall. Once at the top, turn left and walk towards the lit up cave with the pillars.

Continue straight and exit through the only doorway. You will come out onto a balcony with multiple dead enemies (some are asleep but will not agro you) with a ladder on your right. Descend/jump down the ladder and walk across the narrow bridge into a small tower that has a chest in the center.

There are a few enemies in here with shields that will wake up and attack you. Burnhal will also invade you at this point if you have done everything correctly. He's a push over if you've made it this far in the game. The fight is only slightly tricky due to the shielded enemies in the small room with him. Kite them outside for an easier fight if you need to.

Once defeated, he drops quite a few armor pieces and his weapons. As soon as I killed him, the achievement popped.

The chest inside the small tower contains the Old Lord's Talisman, a legendary item that is also needed for the "Legendary Talismans" achievement. Use a guide for that if you can not find this location.

Do not forget to kill the secret and very missable boss that is also near the "Beside the Great Bridge" site of grace. This is for the "Dragonlord Placidusax" achievement.
