ELDEN RING

Elemer of the Briar is located in the Shaded Castle. The castle is located in the Northern section of the map, on the North side of the Altus Plateau. You get there from the Erdtree-Gazing Hill rest site and going north inside a ravine.

Once in the Castle the boss is found by taking a lift up to a wooden catwalk where you'll see the boss door at the end. The bottom of the lift is not far from the Shaded Castle Inner Gate site and you can release a ladder to create a sort-cut but there is a site of Matra outside the fog gate anyway.

The boss himself is a fairly straight forward humanoid with a greatsword and typically strategies you would you against hard hitting humanoid characters apply. His swings are pretty simple to dodge, main thing to be aware of is he can swing at range using as his sword floats. 4 swing combo is pretty common and watch for the return movement of his sword afterwards as that can catch you too. However the room is still big enough to keep him at range if you have range to damage him with. Only variation really from his standard or range swings to be aware of are a grab which has a long wind up and low range and a shoulder charge which has decent range on it.
