How to unlock the Shardbearer Mohg achievement in ELDEN RING - Definitive Guide

Shardbearer Mohg is located in Mohgwyn Palace in the Sofria River area. While he can be defeated with no extra items, there are a few things that will make the fight easier for you. If you manage to aquire Mohg's Shackle you can interrupt his channeled ability twice during the fight. Having the Purifying Crystal Tear in your Wondrous Physick will negate his bleed effects during the fight. One major element to prepare for is his channeled ability, as this will take large chunks of your health through bleed procs. You can use the shackle to interrupt this cast, or use the Purifying Crystal Tear to negate the large chunk damage. As with any Elden Ring boss, practice makes perfect. Other than his channeled ability, he is by no means the hardest enemy you will have faced by now. Simple fire puddles and basic attacks are really the only other move sets to learn. One last piece of advice which applies to almost everything in tis game, use your mimic summon to help tank the boss so you can deliver that sweet sweet damage. Next thing you know this achievement will be yours!

Drops: 420,000 Runes, Mohg's Great Rune, Remembrance of the Blood Lord

Mohg is the second toughest Shardbearer after Malenia, mostly for the unavoidable Hemorrage attack once he reaches half health. For being the Blood Lord, Mohg is incredibly succeptible to Hemmorage. Using a DEX build with a weapon that can inflict Hemorrage will completely wreak havoc on Mohg. If you have Mohg's Shackle, you can use the item to stun him in his first phase. Once he starts chanting and you get surrounded by blood rings the Shackle will no longer be able to stun him.

Having the Purifying Crystal Tear in your Physick will heavily reduce the unavoidable damage when Mohg hits 50% health and starts chanting "Tres" "Duo" "Unnus", you also won't be stunned from this so it leaves Mohg wide open to retaliation, just stick to his left side as when he is finished he will swing down his trident.

Phase 2 is where he can be a bit more troubling for a melee based character as his trident is now infused with Bloodflame and will spew out the Bloodflame effect with every attack quickly reducing the safe spaces around the arena to be able to avoid damage. It will also quickly build up a Hemmorage effect which can suddenly cause you to lose a massive amount of health.

Passed on 1 attempt with a bloodhound's fang at +10 and the ashes of a False Tear. (right in front of the boss there are sharpeners for ashes and weapons lying around)
The boss constantly throws up blood flow, so you must remember to heal more often. At this stage of the game, dodging his attacks is very easy. Use , after the rebound and free 420k souls are yours.
You can get to the boss either through a portal in the second part of the snowy location, which requires a secret medallion (Haligtree Secret Medallion), or you can meet Varre (the white mask from the beginning of the game) in Liurnia and invade other people's worlds 3 times (not necessary to win), using his gift. We receive the mark from Varre and use it.
There is a skip that allows you not to use the medallion (patch 1.04).
We jump off the cliff, after the name of the location appears, we make a second jump, die and are reborn on the Marika wedge.

During the boss fight, Mog throws bloody rings on the hero, which inflict huge damage in the second phase. In order to remove the rings, you need to put a special tear in a custom flask, which can be obtained after killing Eleanor on Yura’s quest. Eleanor herself invades the player in the second Marika temple.

If you use a summoning finger potion before entering the arena, about 6 summoning signs will appear, and you can summon two assistants.

You can disable the boss's AI by jumping onto the tombstone to the right of the entrance to the arena and shooting at it a little with a bow. We shot a little, then we went into the arena and beat him with impunity. Easy tactics for a mage. If you are a melee soldier, you can pump up your wisdom stats to 55(60) with a larva. I also recommend activating the Godric rune with a runic arc.
We equip the shiny staff of Lusat +9 (+10) , an elixir with a “ magic cracked tear ” and a “ secret azure tear ”.
Armor – “ brilliant crown of double wisdom ” on the head, the rest is optional.
Talismans - “ golden scarab ” (520K souls) / / “ talisman of Radagon ”, “ stargazer’s legacy ”, “ sign of Godfrey ”, “ talisman of the grave school ”.
Spells – “ Enchanted Lands ”, “ Azur’s Comet ”.
We go to the boss, run to about the middle of the arena, cast “ enchanted lands ”, drink an elixir with a “ magical cracked tear ” and a “ secret azure tear ”, the boss begins to go down the stairs, moves towards the city and flies off in one salvo of the “ Azur comet” "
