ELEX

Elixit is essential if you want to upgrade your stats for the other achievements as well as being able to wield the best weapons, the more money you have the more natural Elex you can buy and the more Elex potions you can create.

If you want to earn this legitimately here are some tips and recommended equipment:

SUnglasses - Reveals loot even through walls. I never unequipped them can be purchased from merchant in the Fort. These will net you tens of thousands plus some amazing weapons.

Animal Trophy 1,2, 3. Its pointless buying these too early, but from level 10+ you should start buying these skills, they will give tonnes of resources per kill, which can be sold. in your inventory the materials are listed as trophys so sell them they arent craftable. Also mutant enemies will give natural Elex the most prized resource in the game.

The Redeemer the best most versatile weapon I have found, does 100 damage and has a range of fire modes, will take a Colossus out in 4 hits on Normal, and will help you mow down enemies.

Amulet of Decptionan amazing piece of equipment especially when low to mid level, will camouflage you stop beasts attacking, letting you loot places undisturbed and also totally stops lower level beasts attacking you. Great for exploration and looting.

Quests these provide moderate shards but not as much as animal trophy but you will rack up XP as well

Junkwith the SUnglasses equipped loot everything in blue, i collected 8000 cigarettes from the Fort in an hour which is 8k .

Chemsprobably the most important ability in the game, as well as elix potions craft other items and sell them for far more than the price of the resource

Crafting if you lots of resources visit a campfire and workbench keep recipes youfind in your inventory, you can make a small fortune selling some basic food and chems.

origins Camp but the trader and workbench, you'll spend loads of time here upgrading your character, making potions etc, sell all of your loot and trophys to the trader. Youll be able to easily teleport to camp and make a fortune here.

If you want to grind out the shard-related achievements at almost any point in the game, just make a save when you are near a trader, then talk to the trader and sell everything in your inventory. After that, just reload your save, and sell everything again. Repeat as many times as needed.

For this specific achievement, this method goes a lot quicker the later in the game you are and the more things you have in your inventory. I had just under 10,000 shards worth of items in my inventory when I did this and it didn't take too long.

There is a little bug in the game, where you can create the biggest energystorage with the mats from the lowest.... follow this german video guide (not mine).

Short explainment:

You need:
+ Skill Chemistry
+ Manual Lower Energy Storage (doesn't know the exact english name, can be found at the starting Area)
+ Mats: Ironore and Electroscrap

Go at the Fort in the Desert (Outlaws) to the grocery dealer directly right after the entrance, buy iron ore and metalscrap in mass. after this, go to the workbench and make the lower energy storage. There's the bug... the next higher Storage doesn't need more mats.
