How to unlock the Big Game Hunter achievement in ELEX - Definitive Guide
The important thing to note for this achievement is that even rats, scarabs and chickens count.
My solution is to go in the sewer in Abessa. For that, please follow the guide from AssertionError for the achievement "Sewer Rat"
Once in the sewer, make a manual save and do the short circuit shown in my video below.
Each time, it will take more or less 1min30 for 15 ennemies so from scratch, you'll need 67 runs (more or less 1h40).

You will earn this naturally as you progress with the story. So dont waste hours reloading checkpoints attempting to get this early on by killing rats etc. Its's best to grind this out with high level enemys, have the skills Animal Trophies 1,2&3 equipped and the enemies will drop huge amounts of resources that can be used to earn other achievments such as Big Earner and the Max out all factions. The final area of the game is teaming with high level enemies and at that point you will have great armor, weapons and abilities unlocked.
Here are a few tips, that will help you earn this achievement as well working towards some of the harder achievements
The best weapon in the game is the Redeemer and The executioner(that i found) . this will kill a Colussus in 3 shots.
Bring along a companion, set there behaviours to match your prefered playstyle and the enemies will focus on the companion giving you time and space to finish them off.
Purchase Animal trophy 1,2,3 These 3 skills will give you a tonne of resources for each kill, trophies can be sold and will earn you a fortune this will help you earn the Big Earner achievement
Purchase the abilities or Equip armour that has Sixth Sense, Friend of beasts and Natural Camouflage, Sixth sense increases Radar field, friend of beasts means lower level animals wont attack, meaning you can walk up to them and blast them. Natural camouflage is a great skill allowing you to get extremely close to higher level beasts giving you an advantage to attack.
The best area for racking up kills is the northern part of the map which is covered in snow and ice. there are a tonne of higher level enemies, they will give you a tonne of trophies and earn you a fortune.

This achievement will be a bit of a grind. It does track ANY monster type, including the non-hostile ones like rats and chickens, though only creatures and not humanoid enemies (those have their own achievements). Monsters in the game will respawn after two days' rest, so if you find a spot with a number of enemies near a sleeping bag or teleporter, you can easily use that to farm kills if needed.

all monsters killed in the game are taken into account, with reboots and a new game

It’s not a fact that you can get it for a complete passage. At the time I completed the game and received all the other trophies (except for 80 hours, of course), I still had about 300 monsters left to kill. I just took the coolest gun (more than a hundred damage), bought ammo, put on monster detection glasses and walked around the map to the nearest red dots.

I personally received this trophy back in Chapter 2. I got to the third chapter by completing all the additional quests available at that time. was around level 28.
I went with a Level 3 LSR-T Laser Blaster. By the time I fully upgraded it, I had 2400 rounds of ammunition from it (I found/got everything from the corpses of Albs and robots, I didn’t buy anything), with 83 damage + 20% from pumping up small arms. The monsters were killed quickly enough, not having time to reach me.
The sword was used only against large monsters, like Trolls, and Patrons. Even large robots went down in 3 shots (with a pumped-up perk for damage to robots).
