How to unlock the Pilferer achievement in Elex - Definitive Guide

Either invest in the pickpocket skill or equip armour/rings/amulet which has points in pickpocketing.

The best way to get this is find a bed and sleep until midnight, this way most of the NPC's will be asleep, presscn_LS to enter sneak mode. When you look at a target it will say either unsuspecting or attentive, if it says unsuspecting then press cn_A, if the target has 2 items in his inventory then steal 1 item then exit, then repeat the process, this will count as 2 pickpockets even though it is 1 target.

You can also steal from awake targets but again make sure it says unsuspecting and make sure their are no witnesses. Make a save prior to the attempt incase you get caught. You can reload the same save and quickly get the achievement however i highly recommend using this ability throughout the game. You are able to steal rare and unique items and loads of Elex shards which will for the 100k achievement

One of the best places to quickly get this done one of the final missions called "The Battle of Xacor." All of your allies are facing the enemy so you can easily get this whole achievement done in one go. Make sure you have the pickpoketing skill and make a save before you attempt the pickpockets. All I did was pickpocket the until I was caught and reloaded the save!

To be able to pickpocket, you'll first need at least one point in this skill, found in the Crafting tree (or an accessory that gives you +1 to the skill). I would suggest saving before any pickpocket attempt, as a fail will turn the target hostile. Repeat 49 more times. Joining The Claws (refer to "Sewer Rat") is a good way to work on this, since their quests require pickpocketing and will help toward "Careerist" as well as getting more experience and money.

NOTE: You can save in front of any NPC, steal from them, and reload your save to do it again to quickly get this achievement done. This is easiest to do when someone is sleeping. I made a circuit of Goliet at night and got 7-10 before getting caught and reloading.

It’s better not to level up pickpocketing in this game; it’s a useless skill, needed only for a couple of quests and a trophy. You can find an amulet that gives +1 to theft. You can score on the trophy until the end of the game, and then, when there are a lot of free points, make a save, level up your theft to the fullest, go to some city, sleep until midnight and sneak into houses, or better yet, into barracks (there are more people) and steal in sleeping people. And, most importantly, you can boost several pickpockets on one person. Some people have a lot of things in their pockets, when we steal, we take ONLY ONE thing, interrupt the rant, start again, again take ONLY ONE thing, and so on until we take everything! That is, it is the thefts that count, not the robbed characters. On some characters, for example Ragnar's wife in Goliet (I don't know, maybe things are random, but I noticed that characters with a name have more of them), you can even do up to 10 pickpockets without any reboots! After we get the trophy, load the save that we made before upgrading this useless skill.

The easiest way to do it is on Xander, Hort's guard, from him we teach PICK THIEF to level 2 and raise level 3 with an amulet, for example Thief. There is no one where he stands, at any time of the day. They just stood behind him, made a save and moved forward, he had 4 items, took everything and loaded up, and so on until he received the trophy. It will literally take 3 minutes.
