This unlocks after completing the first boss battle at the end of the first district. You are in a relatively small room with the boss on a higher platform. The two ways to damage him is to quickly throw back an explosive barrel he throws at you, or to connect the wires to electrocute him. On easy, it only takes about three hits to win. His attacks include throwing flaming objects at you, including explosive barrels, throwing a bottle of water and trying to electrocute you, and turning on one, then eventually both, of the flamethrowers on the wall. You can also die by falling or being pushed off your platform.

This is just a tip that seems to be making this much easier on me. Credit to Super EA Man in Diamond Respondr for giving me this idea.
In settings there is Fire Spread adn Speed Multiplier reduce it down to 0.0 and put on Reduced Gravity. It makes the game SOOOO much easier single player.

In case it’s not clear (like it wasn’t for me), after the boss leaves you have to go back to the starting room to finish the mission.
