How to unlock the Lead God achievement in Enter The Gungeon - Definitive Guide
**Edit 5/30/19**
The new DLC has introduced easier methods for obtaining this achievement. All credit goes to AstroNightmares:
“I found a very easy way to get the achievement with the boss rush mode. With the new DLC there is an option to do a run with only rainbow chests, one per floor. Which has a much higher chance of having a clone in them than being lucky enough to find it on a normal run. In my second or third floor chest was a clone. I managed to not get hit by one of the bosses from the first four floors but of course got hit by the fifth floor boss. When I was revived by the clone on the first floor I killed the first boss without getting hit giving me a second master round for the first floor making a total of five, and the achievement popped.”
Original Solution:
To earn this achievement, you must flawlessly beat 5 chamber bosses. Optional bosses (Blobulord in the Oubliette, the Shadow Magician mini-boss, etc.) will not reward the player with a Master Round.
There are several methods to earning this achievement, each requiring a great amount of skill and luck.
1. The first and most obvious option is to flawless all 5 chamber bosses in one continuous run. Attempt this once you have invested several hours into the game and have learned boss patterns. Stock up on blanks and hope for S-tier gun drops.
2. The second, easier method is to unlock the Clone item by returning Ox's arm. Learn how to do this here:
The Clone item allows you to restart on the first floor upon death, keeping all weapons, items, and health upgrades. Hypothetically, you could earn several Master Rounds on your initial run and then earn your remaining Master Rounds on your Clone respawn. Just cross your fingers that Clone shows up on a strong run.
3. The final method requires the player to unlock Boss Rush. To do this, you must unlock all floor shortcuts (not an easy task). Learn how to do this here:
http://enterthegungeon.gamepedia.com/Shortcuts
You have 3 chances to earn a Master Round in each of the first 4 chambers. However, you will still need to flawless the 5th chamber boss in one try.
The achievement will unlock as soon as you flawlessly beat your 5th chamber boss, before you even pick up your 5th Master Round.
Good Luck!

One nice bit that's not at all relevant to actually obtaining the master rounds: If you give one to Tinker in order to get one of the shortcuts unlocked, that master round still counts. Just got my fifth after unlocking the final shortcut and it still popped this achievement.

Thanks for the Options 2 and 3. I wasn't aware of those!

Master rounds are items that are dropped by bosses if you kill them without taking damage. You can collect one for each regular floor (doesn't include secret floors like a sewer). So you need to kill all 5 floor bosses without getting hurt at all in a single run to get the achievement. Focus on items that give you invulnerability and block bullets (like guon stones). This is not an easy achievement and you'll fail many times, but don't lose hope!

The master's cartridge is given for killing the floor boss without receiving a single damage, even to the armor. 5 rounds, this essentially means you need to kill all the bosses of the game without taking damage in 1 run. Perhaps the most difficult trophy in the game and the vast majority will not be able to handle it. Bosses starting from the 3rd floor turn into a living hell. There you survive 1 time out of 10 with full HP then...

To get this trophy, it is not necessary to have cartridges from the master of each floor; you can have 2 cartridges from one floor (2 cartridges from the master of the 1st floor). But this can only be achieved if you are lucky enough to get a clone from a black chest.

I found the easiest way to get a trophy that any player can handle.
First, play for fun and save the trophy for later (I got it when I killed the fifth boss 4-5 times and cleared the first level 50 times). During the passage you need:
- unlock as many passive skills and weapons as possible, which can be obtained from the store in the Breach and by killing bosses;
- release the “rainbow” character from prison. He will appear in the Breach in the room to the right of the descent into the first level of the game. It opens up a special game mode in which you can't get anything from chests or buy weapons/skills from merchants, but instead gives 1 rainbow chest at the beginning of each level, which drops 4 skills and 4 weapons, but you can only pick up 1 item.
- unlock the " Sword Cannon" weapon. This is one of the best weapons with which you can kill any boss without losing HP. Its power lies in the fact that when you reload it, the player swings his arms and returns all the charges that hit you back to the attacker. Moreover, the recharge window is quite large. OR unlock a makeshift cannon that can one-shot the boss (even at the last levels, if you pick up a passive that reduces the number of enemies' lives by 25%)
So, your action plan:
1. Go to the Gaps to the “rainbow” character and agree to the game mode.
2. At the beginning of each level you are given 1 chest, from which you can only get 1 of 8 items to choose from. You need to roll the Sword Cannon first (open the chest and restart the game until it drops). Leave the sword cannon ONLY for bosses. Because when reloading, you can throw all his shots back at the boss; you will remove more than half of the HP in this way. If the bosses shoot in a volley, then feel free to reload and jump into this volley to push it back. I often just fire a couple of times and wait for the moment when the volley flies at me so that I can throw it away. You will kill EVERY boss using this method, there should be no problems. Even with the “wall” boss, you can easily throw away the entire volley flying at you, firing only 1 shot and constantly reloading.
Because You can’t really buy anything in stores, buy all the dummies and save them for the bosses. Taking into account the game in the Sword Cannon, dummies will not be required except for the 5th boss.
For 5 floors you can get only 5 chests. To have more of them (and therefore more chances of winning), you need to open 2 easy additional levels.
3. On the first floor we find a room with a fireplace and extinguish it with a barrel of water (it’s in the same room or the next one, don’t shoot at it by accident!!), in the fireplace we press the lever and opens a secret basement, for which you need 2 keys (find on floor or buy from a merchant). DO NOT JUMP IN THERE until you kill the first boss and get his ammo.
4. Immediately after receiving the first cartridge, go to the entrance to the basement. There is a button next to it (as before the certification of each level), click on it and save. Next, transfer the save to the cloud or to a flash drive. Next, launch the game and continue from the same moment. Jump into the basement, there will be a second chest there. Roll the necessary guns or skills from it (if nothing good drops, load the save and repeat).
Because You get the sword cannon ONLY on bosses; you need at least 1-2 more weapons to clear the floors. Leave the remaining chests for passive skills. I chose skills to slow down enemy bullets and increase the rate of fire/power of shots.
5. In the basement, kill everything, clear everything and kill the boss, AND ONLY after that take the “old badge” shield, which must be placed on the second level on the altar to open the abbey. Before descending, also reset your save.
6. On the second level, also roll the chest and CAREFULLY, without losing HP, bring the shield to the altar (if you get hit, the shield will disappear). But you don’t go down to the abbey until you kill the boss on the floor and get the cartridge from him.
7. There is a new chest in the abbey.
After killing the boss and returning to the floors,
If you have full sword gun ammunition and at least 5 dummies (you may not need more), immediately go to the boss without clearing the map (It still makes no sense). If you killed a boss with a cartridge, reroll your save. If it doesn't work, download. After saving, roll the necessary items in the chest. And so on until the end of the game.
8. The last boss is also killed with one sword cannon. Accumulated pacifiers can come in handy in difficult moments. Save the 50-100 cartridge for the second stage of the boss, where you need to jump into windows empty of bullets. You don’t have to jump, but just reload and run across, IMHO it’s easier and safer. The main thing is not to stand close to the back wall so that you have more maneuverability and don’t get pinned. After running, you finish off the boss’s heart with another gun to save ammunition.

You can get it in 3 ways:
1. The most obvious one, kill 5 master rounds from each of the bosses
2. Hope that you get the “Clone” item. The item itself gives you, after death, the opportunity to start the game again from the first floor, but with the preservation of ALL items. In this case, it is not necessary to knock out all 5 master cartridges sequentially; you can get, for example, 1-2-3 cartridges from the first run, die and get 1-2 cartridges again (they stack). In total you will have five of them, a path and some repeat ones.
3. Boss rush. Opens after you unblock the path to the 5th floor. On each floor you have 3 attempts to knock out the master's cartridge.
