How to unlock the A Real Weapon achievement in Escape Dead Island - Definitive Guide

This one is in mission 6 on your way to the helipad.

When you are told to take the big elevator up to the helipad proceed to the far left corner of the room first to find another workbench with the next weapon on it before going in the elevator.

Well, i got only the second upgrade position, but unlocked both upgrades achievement when i picked it up

I apparently missed this somehow and I'm in mission 8. Perhaps this is missable?

When you have to go the helipad you'll get to the large elevator that takes you up. In the room with the elevator you'll see a forklift. This is the room with the upgraded axe.
