Escape Dead Island

The Walloper is a strange pistol that you'll find inside the hatch located in the Helipad. It has a great firepower, but very slow reload time and horrible precision at long range.

This achievement requires you to kill 10 enemies at long range using this weapon. What is considered "long range" for this achievement? From my experience, and as a reference, it counts as "long range" when the entire standing enemy fits inside the two vertical lines of the weapon's crosshair. Something like this:


As almost every enemy will run to hit you, it is better to attemp this on Spitters (they'd need two shots); or on the slow zombies if you spot them from a distance or they are distracted (one shot is enough).

I found that using as aiming spot a little to the left from the center of the crosshair has a good chance of the shot being accurate. Look at the image above to see what I mean.

Also, if you complete the Underwater Labs before attempting this, you will get loads of ammo, so finding it will not be a problem.

I actually found an easy way to get this on the final boss. Once you clear out the initial swarm of shadow zombies and spitters, 2 shadow zombies will spawn for the rest of the boss battle. Keep running away from the boss and take out the zombies with the Walloper. I did it from up above on the ramp and actually managed to get the boss stuck on the bottom level. You should have plenty of ammo for all 10 zombies.
