Escape Dead Island

Once you get the pistol from a familiar face in Chapter 5, you'll start seeing ammo packs occasionally on the ground, and on objects such as tables and crates. When you see them, pick them up - you need 25 to get the achievement.

Unlike in previous Dead Island titles, you won't get an achievement tracker in the pause menu, so you won't see how far away you are from getting this achievement. That said, ammo packs are fairly common, and you'll be able to get this achievement fairly quickly after acquiring the pistol. One thing to keep in mind is that if you die, any collectibles, ammo packs, or upgrades you've collected after the last time the game autosaved will be gone. As a result, if you die and pick up the same ammo pack a few times, or if you reload your save, the packs you pick up will only count once towards this achievement.

It is worth noting that sometimes when you die, the game will drop an ammo pack next to your respawning body to help you out though, so pick these up when you die to help push towards this achievement.
