Pledge is a mechanic in the Defiance set that appears on units.
If you want to grind this out, make a deck with several Pledge units and start a new gauntlet run. Mulligan so you have one in your starting hand, play it on your first turn, then concede and repeat.
Pledge: On your first turn, a card with Pledge can be played as a Sigil.
So if you have a Pledge unit in your opening hand, you can play it as a Sigil on your first turn.
