How to unlock the Throne: Master achievement in Eternal Card Game - Definitive Guide

Someone sent me a PM on here asking how I got the achievement, figured I'd share it with everyone:

I was able to reach Gold by myself with a yellow/purple life gain deck but it seemed too inconsistent against the decks in gold and diamond.

I looked online and they had a tournament just recently (keep in mind that this solution was written in December 2018) and showed the top 4 decks at the tournament. Three of them had legendaries everywhere, too costly for me, and one had not a single legendary. I ended up using that one and went on a tear. I went from the first gold tier to master without dropping a game.

Its a red/blue aggro deck. I couldn't build it exactly since I needed 10k dust, but I just took out some of the more expensive cards and was left with this:

4 Grenadin Drone (Set1 #5)
2 Longbarrel (Set4 #5)
4 Oni Ronin (Set1 #13)
3 Permafrost (Set1 #193)
2 Pyroknight (Set1 #16)
4 Snowcrust Yeti (Set2 #105)
4 Torch (Set1 #8)
4 Champion of Fury (Set2 #187)
4 Dusk Raider (Set4 #153)
4 Ornate Katana (Set1 #23)
4 Rakano Outlaw (Set1 #20)
2 Rampage (Set1 #17)
3 Ixtun Merchant (Set4 #21)
4 Jennev Merchant (Set4 #169)
2 Shogun's Scepter (Set1 #26)
4 Fire Sigil (Set1 #1)
4 Granite Waystone (Set3 #1)
3 Shugo Standard (Set4 #1)
4 Primal Sigil (Set1 #187)
3 Cobalt Waystone (Set3 #151)
4 Seat of Fury (Set0 #53)
2 Skycrag Banner (Set2 #186)
1 Diplomatic Seal (Set1 #425)
--------------MARKET---------------
1 Permafrost (Set1 #193)
1 Warhelm (Set1 #14)
1 Mirror Image (Set1 #217)
1 Mortar (Set2 #194)

To import this into your own game, go and edit any deck and click the magnifying glass on the top right and then copy and paste this information. From there, you need to be able to craft the deck with dust which you can get by salvaging your cards.

To play the deck, just make sure you have 2-3 power in your hand, and try to be able to play a unit each turn. Use your spells like Permafrost or Torch to get rid of your opponents monsters.

It works well against almost any deck, and even if you are low on power you can still win. If your opponent is running the same deck but goes first, he will have the advantage. The only deck I struggled against where the ones where my opponent had many cards with Endurance, or the relic that gave Endurance because it negates permafrost.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

It's not quite a cheat code, but as you get up in the diamond tiers, especially top diamond, turning off cross platform play will limit you to Xbox players only, which tend to be lower ranked than the general populous of the game. I never matched lower than Silver I this way, but made that last grind easier as you have no need to play against the best, just win.

Thank you Brianstormed! I used your exact deck to get to Master today (Eternal v1.42.2 Defiance Ch.26).

For anyone interested in using this, don't expect miracles. I'm a novice at card games but still managed to pull it off. First, I played Gauntlet and Ranked matches using a crappy deck until I saved up the 11,000 Shiftstone I needed to craft the remaining cards I was missing. Using this new deck won't be amazing and you will lose, a lot. However, it's decent enough that you should hopefully win more games than you lose and slowly climb the ranks. Just keep applying pressure by attacking early and often. Don't be discouraged if you happen to lose 5-10 games in a row, that's the randomness of things.

In case anyone is interested, I kept track of the number of wins it took me to get from Silver to Master using this deck:
162 Games Played
100 Wins, 62 Losses
61.7% Games Won
