How to unlock the Hero's Gate achievement in Eternal Sonata - Definitive Guide

Near the end of chapter 7 after you defeat the boss "Ruined Body" he will drop the "Hero's Crest". Once you have this item exit the tower and go back out to the Noise Dunes. Walk 3 - 4 screens to the left and you will come to the Oasis. There is a giant door here (you can't miss it) walk up to the door and open it with the "Hero's Crest."

You can only get this on your first play through if you do not go through the purple portal after defeating the huge dragon at the end of Double Reed Tower. Once defeating that dragon, you get the "Hero's Crest" and you will need to leave Double Reed Tower and return to the Noise Dunes. Once there, go four screens to your right and you will arrive at the entrance to the Mysterious Union.
