How to unlock the Quid Pro Quo achievement in EVERSPACE - Definitive Guide

Tareen is an Okkar merchant who will ask you to bring him supplies. It will take several runs to get this achievement. Luck will play a role in this achievement because of his random spawn. If he spawns in an early sector it will be considerably harder to complete is order.

A general note about his orders. Any progress that you make in an order will be kept, so you don't have to worry about completing everything in one go. If you already encountered Tareen in your run, don't waste time collecting his stuff since you can only find him once per run. Another note is that having a lot of pilot perks will help you a lot.

1. Scrap (200x). Pretty self explanatory, you can find this almost anywhere, You might be able to complete this right away depending on his spawn.
2. Gatling 40mm (1x). You can craft this weapon or find it during your run. Note that this weapon cant be build using the Sentinel ship.
3. Processors (30x). These are rarer than I thought. You can get them randomly in crates or use the Drone Dismantler device. The Drone Dismantler mk3 is your best bet because it will drop the most loot from destroyed drones.
4. Access Keys (5x). These can be found by destroying Elite enemies. Playing on Hard will increase the spawns of Elite enemies and will therefor make it easier to obtain.
5. Mainframe Override (1x). You can craft this device or find it during your run.
6. Dark Matter (25x). This one will probably be the worst one since Dark Matter is pretty rare. You can find it randomly in crates if you are lucky. The most obvious place to get Dark Matter is next to a Black Hole. Note that you can benefit from the Bonus Resources perk. At max level I usually get 2 Dark Matter at the start of the run.
7. Arc-9000 (1x). You can craft this weapon or find it during your run. The most common place for these are the derelict stations that you can find (which require an Access Key). These stations contain rare loot therefor increasing your chances of finding one. Crafting one is quite expensive since it requires a lot of Dark Energy and Dark Matter. You can also use loadout B on the gunship to start with one.
8. Crystals (200x). Can be found in giant asteroids and as ordinary loot in crates.
9. Mine Clusters (5x). You can craft this weapon or find it during your run. Note that the Gunship is the only ship that can actually carry them. The Gunship also starts with 5 Mine Clusters in loadout A&C
10. Enhanced Fusion Blaster M6-A with 3 mods (1x). This one will be tricky. You could potentially find this but the chances are very slim. You could also craft this using the Artisan subrouting if you have the right ship. An other option would be crafting the standard Fusion Blaster M6-A and finding Throng (the scientist). He can enhance the weapon for a few viridian. He can also re modify the weapon (you get 3 random mods on it) for a few viridian. Note that only the Gunship and the Interceptor can use this weapon.

Deliver the final order and the achievement is yours.

Tareen is an Okkar trader who requests that you bring several items to him in return for items. He can only be found in one system per run but you may return to him over several runs to drop off items. You can turn in a number of different items after finishing the previous task if you have them on board or can craft them while he waits. For example, if you reach Tareen and have 25 scrap, a Gatling 40mm and 10 Processors onboard, you could turn in all of these 3 items, without leaving and coming back. However if you only had 4 Access Keys, you could turn those in and would have to either die or go on to complete all sectors and then start a new run to find Tareen again and bring him the rest.

1. 25x Scrap (found everywhere or through salvaging equipment)
2. Gatling 40mm (rare, a special variant of the standard Gatling primary weapon, not the standard version or the Gatling Turret device, can be crafted with blueprint and resources)
3. 10x Processors (quite rare but findable and traders often have in stock)
4. 5x Access Keys (quite rare, from Elite enemies or given as Bonus Equipment when you begin a run, worth starting and quickly failing a run a few times to see if you are given a few on the next run)
5. 1x Mainframe Override (rare to find, can be crafted with blueprint and resources)
6. 25x Dark Matter (this and Dark Energy are very rare, both found near black holes and difficult to harvest safely. Rarely stocked outright but the two items can be swapped at traders or converted at refineries)
7. 1x ARC-9000 (more common to find on higher difficulties, dropped by Elite Corvettes, can be crafted with blueprint and resources, starting Loadout B of Gunship)
8. 200 Crystals (commonly found in small numbers, 200 is painful when Tareen is in an early sector, give what you have and come back on next run)
9. 5 Mine Clusters (quite common to find, crafted with blueprint and resources, starting Loadout A and C of Gunship)
10. 1 Fusion Blaster M6-A enhanced and with any 3 mods (very rare to find, crafted with blueprint and many resources, use Artisan glyph when crafting to "enhance")

It is necessary to transport materials and equipment to Tarina for a long time and persistently. The bonus is that you can bring it in parts, not necessarily all in one trip. Long, but not very difficult.

There may be a significant problem only with the last stage. On it you need to bring an improved version (with a star) of a reinforced blaster with three modifications. The problem will be if you did not have time to find his drawing and finished the main plot. An officially confirmed bug feature is that after completing the story, blueprints drop very rarely, and it will be almost impossible to find a blueprint.

1. Or make sure that before completing the story you found the required drawing.
Then you insert the glyph to improve the main weapon, insert the mods and take it away.

2. If you can’t find the drawing, you need to act like this. You start the game at an average level (or a high level, if you are very confident in yourself, an average is also normal). Having the key in your inventory, find at the beginning of some sector a closed block with a container with a special technology (those red round doors). To simplify the search, it is better to insert the glyph into the full radar.
You open the block and container in search of the desired blaster. If you don’t find it, exit with saving to the main menu and click continue. The game loads from the beginning of this sector and you can check the container again. A good opportunity to mine everything you need)
If the required blaster is not upgraded, you can collect the frog beacon and call it to upgrade it.
An improved star blaster is usually located within 10-20 minutes of attempts. Next, insert the mods and fly to submit.
