Fastest way to do this:
1. Start a run with the Colonial Sentinel
2. Unequip & salvage your shield
3. Ram into an asteroid or something
a. If you maxed out all your other pilot perks, see if you can make some
Heavy Missiles
b. Shoot your Heavy Missiles at the asteroid in front of you, which
should cause some significant AoE Damage to your ship
4. Rinse and repeat
It shouldn't take your more than 5-10 minutes to complete.

Tip: It is possible to start without shield straight away, if you choose left bottom perk Daredevil.

Begin 15 runs with this ship which is available from the start. If you want this to go faster, you can simply boost into the nearest object to be destroyed and repeat until the trophy pops.
