How to unlock the Back from the dead achievement in Evil Dead: The Game - Definitive Guide
When a teammate goes down, and doesn’t get revived, they die. If this happens you’re able to collect their soul, (above their body), and revive them.
Once you have their soul, you’ll see waypoints to nearby Altars, marked by little swirly icons. Go up to these and hold Y on the Altar, and your teammate will be revived. Do this 10 times and your achievements should pop!
IMPORTANT NOTE: You'll have to hold the button for an extra second or two for the resurrections to complete! Additionally, this has not worked in AI matches, thank you, The Last Rascal, for pointing this out.
You can hold multiple souls at once, just in case you’re in a scenario where more than 1 teammate are dead!
If you’re holding a soul, and a teammate is revived via the Dagger or Necronomicon Page events being completed, this does not count. It must be done at an ALTAR!

FYI, tried doing 10 in an AI only match and the didn't get the pop. I'm also not showing any progress, but that seems to be affecting other achievements as well at the moment.
Also of note, I had a delay on the revive and had to hold the button down an extra second or two after the progress circle completed to get the rez.

Could you do this in private games?

This trophy is earned as a Survivor.
When a teammate completely bleeds out, they will die and you will be able to pick up their soul. After you pick up their soul, you need to go to an altar which will be marked in a blue circle on your HUD after picking up a soul. Altars on your map will also be highlighted in red. This will require some effort since there's a good chance the demon will be coming after you while you're trying to resurrect someone. Just try to be quick about it. Once you see a teammate(s) die, quickly grab their soul(s) and head to an altar to resurrect them by holding . You can resurrect multiple teammates in a single action as long as you are carrying all of their souls.
