How to unlock the Pew Pew Die achievement in Evil West - Definitive Guide
augmented firearms and are all unmissable, story-related unlocks. Once you’ve unlocked the blueprint for each firearm, you then need to spend a required amount of cash to buy the upgrade. Once you have the cash, you can immediately buy the augmentation, no need to buy the two previous upgrades. This is actually encouraged in order to start farming for the 30 kills required from each weapon early in the game. As a general rule of thumb, buy the relevant upgrade as soon as it becomes available, if you can afford it.

Just a head's up: When you get a kill with each weapon, the tracker will increase, when you've reached the 30 kills with one weapon, it will stop increasing the tracker.
So while farming, keep semi-frequent eye on the tracker, when it stops increasing, you're done with that weapon.

Death Ray’s unlocked in Chapter 15; you could very much unlock this without entering NG+ (the second arena in Chapter 16 is set up pretty well for grinding Death Ray kills out as a matter of fact).

There are six electrically-charged firearm upgrades:
Unfortunately, the game doesn't track progress per weapon. However, I found the Xbox's built-in Achievement Tracker overlay to work well to track this. I killed a few enemies with an upgraded gun, and if the achievement didn't progress, I knew I had killed the required 30 enemies for that weapon. You can reset the white section of the progress bar by going to the achievement in the Guide menu (not the app) and selecting it.
You do not need to kill enemies with the new upgraded effect (like the Boomstick's anomalies or the Explosive's tornado). Any kills by that weapon will work. Save these weapons for the weak mobs, and you'll get it pretty quickly.
In New Game+, there's a section of the Lore tab for replaying missions. At any time, you can replay Chapter 5 "The Devil's Pass," use the kiosk at the beginning to reset your upgrades, and then go back to your main progress. So once you get the required 30 kills for a weapon, you can reset its upgrades and get your money back to be used towards a different weapon.
- Revolver: Blaster
- Rifle: Railgun
- X-Bow: Amped Bolts
- Boomstick: Boom Eternal
- Explosive Bundles: Lightning Tornado
- Gatling: Death Ray

There are 6 Augmented Weapons you must get kills with:
- Blaster
- Railgun
- Amped Bolts
- Death Ray
- Boom Eternal
- Lightning Tornado
From what I can find and tell from my own experience, the kills will carry over even after death. This achievement is much easier on story, but can obviously be done on any difficulty. You don't need to get all of the upgrades for each weapon, you can just buy the third slot for them. This takes a ton of money, so you probably won't get this until your New Game+ playthrough that carries over all of your earnings. Death Ray and Lightning Tornado will probably take you the longest due to cooldowns, so make sure to do them on weak enemies! Below is not my video, however am simply adding it for those who prefer a video as opposed to text:

- Railgun

For each weapon, you have an electric upgrade that is usually the last weapons's upgrade in each column. Use the weapon after upgrading it to kill 30 enemies. There are no statistics to measure your progress, so use chapter select and focus on using each weapon separately until you kill 30 enemies.

As far as I understand, you need to kill 30 people each with: a pistol, a rifle, a machine gun and dynamite. With activated electricity perks.

Chapter 10 (in front of the Belly) there are many small monsters. You will still go there for the trophy of killing Belly without treatment. Set the difficulty to minimum and take the train to the gate to the Belly. Wait for the train to arrive. Kill the entire pack with the weapon you need.

Electric weapons are obtained by upgrading conventional weapons: revolver, rifle, crossbow, machine gun, sawn-off shotgun and explosives. The upgrade to electric weapons is always the last one in the branch, but it is not necessary to upgrade the entire branch; you can immediately upgrade the last upgrade when it is open. True, for another trophy, you still have to pump up all the improvements.
