This is unlocked in the first Evoland.
This actually doesn't unlock once you turn your characters 3D, but unlocks once you turn the world map 3D. Which will happen after the Crystal Caves, and you leave the small forested area of Edel Vale, and get back to the world map. There you will find a chest that unlocks this.

I had initial issues unlocking this and had to go through another run until that point to get it.
It might be that you are not allowed to save and quit the game in between the point you beat the boss in the cave and when you get the 3D world unlock, or else the achievement might not track progression properly.
Just an idea of what might have happened to me there.
