This is unlocked in Evoland II.
Through the process of finding the Fragment of Time, you'll end up creating a village in the Future in Windy Valley. In this new village, you'll find a store that sells an item called a Lucky Necklace, which permanently doubles all the coins you pick up. I ended up going for the Fragment of Time first when I reached this part of the game, as right after you obtain the Fragment of Time, you'll get the Flying Machine, which makes getting around on the world map so much faster.
So I'd recommend doing that as well, because then you should be able to get the 9000 gold pretty naturally while just playing the rest of the game with the Lucky Necklace. I still had two Fragments to find once I hit 9000 gold.
Finding all 3 ingredients for WokDonalds in the Present will also get you 6666 gold, but by the time I found that out, I was already at the max of 9999 gold for a few hours. Either way works, gold is not hard to come by in Evoland II.
