How to unlock the Apex Predator achievement in Evolve - Definitive Guide

The way that I found easiest to do this is in a Custom match Arena.
Put everything in the monster's favor, then set the time to unlimited.
Select Wraith and pick what abilities you would like but first max out Abduction.
Start the match, Kill all hunters but the medic, and just Abduct the medic for 100 pts each time.
I would recommend Val or Caira they seem to heal quicker then the other medics.

It's a long grind but i found it efficient enough

Boring as all Hel, but I definitely can't think of a more efficient way to gain xp.

Personally found this method better than the other solution for anyone looking to level up quickly.

This worked best, but be prepared for the grind. Watch a movie or a series while you do it. I only boosted this game and only got to 35. It was about an hour a level after that of just abductions

Started this game in 2018, finally hit rank 40. 2 days later, still no achievement. Anyone encounter this issue and found a fix? I tried completing an online match and 1 of every game mode so far.

The fastest way to level up is to play Evacuation. At the end of the 5 matches, you'll get a substantial XP bonus based on your performance.

If you're looking to get this as quickly as possible, set up a solo custom match and choose Evacuation. You can get through a campaign as the Monster faster, but choose whichever side you're most comfortable with. Set the difficulty to favour whichever side you're playing.

This is also a good method for boosting mastery and for getting the game mode achievements for Nest, Rescue and Defend.

I used a 2nd account (ironically called TheBeadster) as the monster and just ran and killed it at the start of each round. I got over 12,000xp in 29 minutes of play. The game says I the match lasted 7 minutes 59, so that shows how long you're in loading screens. Good method +1

Simply play the game, you should get this around two-hundred or so matches. Playing Evacuation mode and staying till the end gets you bonus XP.

You shouldn't have to grind this, by going for everything else should max you out before you can even finish maxing out the character Masteries required for other achievements. If for any reason you do want to grind this out, simply play a custom match set to the Evacuation game mode. Set the rules to favour monster in difficulty, no strikes for hunters and turn off the handicap. Now simply play as the monster for the five rounds and win. You'll get a minimum 600XP bonus for winning and finishing and then after all five matches, you should get roughly 5000-6000XP for killed colonists bonus. You basically get the equivalent of ten matches worth of XP for only playing five, takes roughly thirty to forty minutes to finish playing with bots. I suggest switching the support from Hank to Bucket or Cabot each match to make things go smoother.

This trophy will take some time and will be one of the last trophies you unlock. You can gain experience from all game modes online or offline. Evacuation is the best mode as you get around 6,000 XP upon completing a Evacuation campaign. Once you hit Rank 40 the trophy should pop.

Also another method for obtaining quick XP is to load up a game of Defend and play as Val, with the aim of using her Armour Piercing Sniper Rifle on both the Monster and its minions as much as possible. This is important because for every 4 shots hit on either the Monster or its minions you get an Award named Sure Shot worth 100XP. If done correctly this could lead to around 1500XP per game just from the Award, added on to whatever XP you obtained through normal play, netting you a nice total after each game.

It was easier for me to swing into one. And for winning in the Arena they don’t always give 200+500 points.
Select the Arena mode, In favor of the monster. Level 3, armor 100%. Disable sudden death, Incapacitate 0. Flora is high. We choose a Ghost, the most important thing is to upgrade the Abduction ability. Take the perk to reduce recovery time. And be sure to choose Kaira as your doctor. Kill everyone except Kaira. And you perform Abduction on it until you get tired of it)) for one they give 100hp. You can pump 30-35k in an hour. And there will be no long level loading times. On average, I managed 4-6 abductions per minute. The main thing is patience)) Otherwise the AI often jumps through the mountains))

If you don’t have enough experience: Arena, Kraken lvl 1, advantage towards hunters. We take Markov, kill the monster in 40 seconds .

Boost for 2 players.
Defense mode.
The booster takes the medic Val with the "Item Recharge" bonus.
The assistant player takes the Goliath monster with the bonus "Reduces damage taken."

Booster Val begins to shoot the monster with an armor-piercing sniper rifle. For every 3 shots, you will receive a "Sharp Shot" badge - 100 XP. You can get 5000-6000 XP per match.

To avoid interference from bot hunters, the monster player needs to stand at a distance of 100-150 meters and hold down the camera control stick so as not to fly out of the game.
