How to unlock the Death to Tyranny achievement in Evolve - Definitive Guide

A Tyrant is a creature that mainly stays in the water. It looks like a giant crocodile.

Best way of doing this is with yourself and a friend on the Nest game mode and on the map Distillery. Find the Tyrant and walk to it to get eaten, then you need to shoot the Tyrant until it frees your friend.

I have included some screenshots to give you an idea of what the creature looks like and where you can find it on the Distillery map.

To rescue a teammate they will need to have walked into close enough to a tyrant (The bigger creatures) and have been snagged up by said tyrant. You will see a red skull on your screen in the direction that the tyrant is chewing on your friend. Simply start shooting it Untill it let's them go then the achievement will unlock.

Tyrants are giant wildlife creatures that can be found swimming around in the water and are very large. They usually have a buff, so you should easily be able to spot one by the floating pinwheel symbol above his head. You probably won't have to try hard to get this, should come naturally. See someone getting attacked by one of these (should see an exclamation icon pop up) and then shoot it till it releases them.

To get this trophy you must kill a tyrant that is attacking one of your teammates. Tyrants are typically found near water and look like this:

When one of your teammates is gets attacked by a Tyrant shoot at it and kill it until it releases your teammate and the trophy should pop. If you wish, you can boost this trophy trophy with a partner and have them deliberately get attacked by a Tyrant to make this trophy easier.
