Little Colorado > Free Roam > Pick your truck / vehicle (I used Actaeon) > Deploy > Eastern Outpost
Starting here gave me access to 600 repair points from the Base Module & Two Essential Storage units.
(The one in front of the Base Module start zone you have to drive in / through then back your truck up into to get it to register
for you to access the inventory).
Once I filled my truck up with points, I proceeded to go up the hill to the right of where you start and drove off the cliff.
Dropping tire pressure
to 'Reduced Pressure' will help with climbing this hill.
Menu button
> Select 'Eastern Outpost' > 
> 
(for Free Recovery) and repeat.
Once storage all units were out of points I would quit to Headquarters and repeat.
This took about 5 mins per run netting about 650 repair points (50 your truck starts with and 600 from three base storage modules.
Total time took me about 40 mins after getting the achievement for fixing 2000 repair points.

Good guide. If it's not obvious, remove any bumpers you may have to do more damage to yourself. You can load your truck with repair parts and you can also hire a Logistician before leaving to get +200 repair parts for less restarts. You can have 400 loaded in your Actaeon, 200 from logistician, and 600 for 3 base modules for 1200 repair parts per run.

10000 points might sound a lot to repair but it can be done pretty quick and easy.
I made a new game so I could load up the expeditions in Little Colorado. Also sold some trucks for easy money which will be handy for buying Essential Storage slots for your outpost. Those are useful for easy repair points to stock up on and they can be sold for 9K for a 1K lose so it doesn't hurt to have some spare cash in case you need it. Only truck you'll need a TUZ 16 Actaeon so you can bung a small tung onto the back of it which has 500 spare parts.
Once you're in Little Colorado it's easy enough to drive down to the river to submerge your engine into it to take damage. I'd usually go over to the ford crossing since one of the outlets has a branch that can be winched onto. With that I could let the truck drift out far enough without the engine being at risk at shutting off from going too deep. Just let the truck run taking 30-50 damage and repair it up while it wears down. Once out of points just recover to an outpost. (This should be free which is also a great way to go for the Start. Crash. Recover achievement.) Then just stock back up on repair points while also buying and selling storage to keep getting more. Then just rinse and repeat however many times you may need and it should be done within an hour if that.
