This is an accumulative achievement and you will progress on it over time.
You need to complete 500 total challenges between all categories (Aggression, Tactics, Aptitude, & Psychic)
The easiest way to complete challenges is playing as Point Man. Although you can also complete separate, and unique challenges with Fettel for more progression towards the achievement. There are also challenges for co-op play between the two brothers.
Retrieving Alma dolls, and Psychic links count as challanges.
You can check your progress by going to the main menu, go to scoring, then Rank/Challenge. Hit
and the number of challenges you have completed will be next to the Challenge score.

Question. Do challenges reset every time I go into a interval. or do they save progress? I finish Interval 1 and saw all the challenges I could have completed in it. cna I go back and finish them or do I have to start from the beginning with getting melee kills and such

This trophy will require you to spend some time the story mode to complete 500 challenges. As you play through each Interval, be sure to complete as many as possible as it will also help with each Intervals score trophy. The trophy should pop soon after completing your 500th challenge. You can check how many challenges you've completed by selecting; Scoring > Rank/Challenge and then highlighting the Challenge tab from the main menu.
