How to unlock the Impress the boss achievement in F1 2010 - Definitive Guide

Your team will have a season objective besides the race objectives. If you start with a 7 year career with one of the three new teams (lotus, virgin or HRT) the challenge will be to finish 20th in the drivers world championship, with other teams you need to end up higher to complete the objective so i reconmend to do it in your first season.
To be sure what your objective is, go to your agent in the paddock, select your team and select "view contract". There it says "season objective: finish ..th".

Worth noting I won the Drivers Championship in my first season with Virgin and this achievement did not unlock. The Season objective was to finish 20th in the Drivers Championship. Could be a bug. I am hoping it will unlock in my second season.

An example of a career objective would be finish 20th in the drivers' championship. (This is the Season 1 objective if you start at lotus). So finish the season higher up than that and the trophy will pop. You should get this in the first season as it isn't too difficult.

You can check your career objective by selecting your agent (in the trailer) and scrolling to the team you're with. Press and you should see the option to "View Contract". The objective will be to finish a certain position in the championship. Finish above the specified position to unlock this achievement.

At the beginning of the season, the team gives you a task (what place you need to take by the end of the season), just complete it and the achievement is yours
