Choosa Monza as your race

Use the practice session to learn how to drive in wet weather. The fastest AI will drive around 1:45. With a bit of practice it shouldn’t be a problem to drive under 1:40

Make sure you don’t steer when you hit a cerbstone. You will spin around most likely. And hit the brakes early but not for too long or you will end up in the gravel.

How to drive a lap at Monza in Heavy Rain:
Brake early enough for the first chicane. And let it roll trough it.
Before the 2nd chicane: Hit the brakes just before the big vodafone board. And when you’re in the chicane make sure you don’t steer too much but just let it roll through the chicane.

The next two cornes shouldn’t be a big problem. Just brake early enough and don’t hit the cerbs.

For the next chicane. Brake just before the raceline says you have to. The last 2 corners of that chicane you can go full throttle.

The parabolica corner (the 180 degrees corner just before the end of your lap)
Make sure you brake early enough and you can almost full throttle through this corner.

If you can drive 2 rounds in a row under 1:40 you can stop the session. You’re good enough.

When you are going to the qualifying session: Just don’t set a time and you will start in last position.

The race:
Before you go to your starting position you see the screen that is on your car. Press the A button and go to car setup. Just change one thing in the set up. It doesn’t matter which one. You won’t notice any difference. Then go to your engineer and tell him to “go to track”.

If you are Lucky enough you will be in the top 10 after the First chicane. When you get the inside of the First chicane you will overtake at least 10 cars. If you hit someone real hard you will get a time penalty of 10 seconds. If you get that, just restart your race till you are in a good position after chicane 1. Just before chicane 2 you can overtake 2 or 3 cars.

The straight before the Parabolica corner (the last, 180 degrees, corner) you can get 4 or 5 cars. After that you have 10 laps to get the rest of the guys. If you drive around 1:40 it shouldn’t be a big problem.

At the end you have 4 achievements. Good luck!!

EASY SOLUTION:
- Monza
- Red Bull
- Brake Assist On (Obviously Abs ON too)

Like this, keep on the racing line and avoid the paint and kurbs.
You can leave your finger on the accelerator for 101 laps.
Even in the chicanes.

You'll start in 4th (2nd lane),
you will be able to overtake the 3 first in the first lap,
and then keep pulling away from them.

i opted for istanbul for this one, it is a very easy track to run on in heavy rain. i chose webber and without qualifying i was 3rd on the grid, i had my car set up for a wet race.

brakes manual.

everything else on.

a.i. amateur

istanbul is a 12 lap race and by the first corner i had already taken 1st. lap times average 1min 40secs.

when i finished i had a lead of 65.5 seconds over button in second.

you do not need to qualify to get the achievement.

I did basically the same thing but opted for Vettel and kept brake assist on. Started 5th without qualifying and overtook Jenson out of turn 8 on the second lap. Pretty sure I never got the turn-in point right for turn 6, never hooked up turn 7 and was about 50% on turn 8. Still managed to maintain a gap and win by 3.5 seconds first try.

Go to Grand Prix. Pick one of the top teams: McLaren, Red Bull or Ferrari. Change the difficulty to easy and the weather to heavy rain. Make sure the length of the race is at 20% and pick a track you are good at. Go on to win the race and the trophy will pop. I think this is nearly impossible in career, since I have yet to be in a race where it has stayed at Heavy Rain from start to finish.

Start a Grand Prix of at least 20% distance, weather set to "Heavy Rain". Change the difficulty to easy and the maximum amount of flashbacks to 4. Be aware, there are no mandatory pit stops in wet weather races. Try for consistency, as opposed to blistering speed. It is easy to spin in the wet, so it is better to be cautious. When turning, do not touch the throttle until you are facing out of the turn. The AI are very slow on the street circuits, so if you are confident in your ability to navigate tight turns, choose one of the following tracks:

  • Melbourne
  • Valencia
  • Monaco
  • Singapore

If street circuits are not your forté, feel free to select your favorite track. Knowing the track well is essential, as visibility is severely reduced. With this in mind, do not drive directly behind other cars. The spray will make it near impossible to see.

Redbull, Mclaren or Ferrari are the best teams to choose from.
