This achievement is extremely easy to get in Split Screen. Just switch on your second controller and put it next to you on the couch. Put the settings on easy, set the race to 3 laps and use a track your familiar with, take your time and stay out the barriers.

The achievement will pop up as soon as you pass the finish line. The other driver doesn't even need to finish the race.

From the Main Menu, Select "Quick Race" and select a top-tier team such as the McLaren Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull. Select either of the drivers available and then apply the following parameters:

Camera: (Which ever one you prefer although the cockpit-cam can net you another achievement if not done so already)

Participation Level: Short Weekend - One-Shot Qualifying

Race Distance: 3 Laps

Difficulty Level: Which ever aids you feel comfortable with although ABS can help you in case you miss the braking point into a corner. The braking assist can also help if you aren't the most confident racer. The most important thing is to have the AI difficulty on amateur so they are easy to beat in qualifying, clearing you of the traffic in the race

Weather Setting: Clear

For the Track I chose "Italy" (Monza) as I find it the most straight forward, consisting of only mostly high speed straights with a few chicanes. However, if you prefer another track and feel more comfortable with it, then try that one out instead!

Aim to qualify in first position and take nothing less than second!

In the race, use KERS straight off the line and you should be able to pull out a lead over the AI, making them less of a pain so you can concentrate on your racing line.

Keep it clean, don't hit any cars (or let them rear-end you!) and don't hit any polystyrene blocks anywhere, its only 3 laps.
