How to unlock the Online Addiction achievement in F1 2012 - Definitive Guide

Complete 30 Races under "Multiplayer>Xbox Live". System Link and Splitscreen obviously doesnt count.

The quickest way is "Quick Match" with the game mode "Sprint". Which is a 3-lap race which should take around 5-7 Minutes. With loading screen etc. this achievement will take around 3-4 hours.

You need to "finish" the race, so "DNF" (did not finished) does not count.

You can always watch you process under "My F1>Statistics" and then use "RB" to switch to the "Multiplayer"-Tab.

What you should know is that "Disqualified" also count as a completed Race, but will not be tracked under "Statistics".

At the point I got my Achievement my Statistics said "26 Grand Prix" because i got disqualified 4 times.

This is gonna take some patience from me with the lag im getting playing online, not really much i can do seeing how im playing with people on the other side of the world most the time.

The stats aren't matching up for me. I have completed (without disqualification) 11 sprint races but it says only 8. Never had a DNF or DQ so not sure why the stats say otherwise. Any suggestions?

Did you actually "finished" the races or do you may got disconnected in some way?

i complete 20 career races and got disqualified for 10, achievement didn't pop.
thumbs down for incorrect or unclear information and y'all don't waste time gettin disqualified.

This achievement can be obtained by completing 30 races online in 3 different ways:

-Co-op career races count towards this achievement. Assuming you complete the co-op championship, you will have 20 out of the 30 required.

-You can also quick race, select "Sprint" race as the minimum laps are 3. Each race takes about 5 minutes including loading times. But keep in mind you MUST have 3 players to begin the race.

-Last, races can be done in custom race. Create a session for 3 laps on the Montreal circuit since it's the fastest one. These DO count towards the achievement. Custom race only require 2 players to start.

NOTE: Crashing your vehicle causing DNF (did not finish) will voud the race count. Getting disqualified will count towards the achievement but will not appear on Statistics.

Hy!

Like the Achievement say.... Complete 30 Online Races.
Co-op Career also count for this Achievement.
You have to drive until the end of the Race.... if u quit out it don´t count....

I was going to post but you might as well add that DNF don't count I idoled for like three hours with no Joy :(

If you go for both of the Coop Achievements the races will also count towards this achievement!

we drove 5 online races and after that we started an coop career and we both got the 15 online race achievement after race number 10.

Unlike the previous game, you do not need to win the races, just complete them. You can do this in any online game mode. The quickest way to get through this trophy is by taking part in the 3 lap sprint races. Just avoid rage quitting when/if you get hit off.

This is by far the most anoying achievement if you do not have a boosting party, simply because on-line gaming of F1 looks like cars on rampage. There is little to any curtesy on online matches and turn one is often a crash extravaganza.
My suggestion: Go to This Thread for a boosting party!
