How to unlock the Eyes of the Beholder achievement in F1 2013 - Definitive Guide
If you don't usually use this view, like me, I found the easiest way for me to get it was to start up a new Grand Prix, 3 lap races and set the camera to cockpit.
You can then either select 10 races you like, or you can just add the whole season and start from Melbourne.
In this mode you can only add each track once (so you can't add Monza 10 times) you also can't do the race and then restart at the end as this won't count as completing the race.
What I found quickest was to add the three shortest tracks - Canadian, Italian and Brazilian. I would race these three and then do the same again.
Things I tried that didn't work:
- Flying over the first corner at Monza and getting DQ'd 10 times in cockpit view
- Restarting at the end of the race as to not have to re-select the races
YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL LAPS OF THE RACE FOR IT TO COUNT TOWARDS THE ACHIEVEMENT
If the Cockpit Camera is your preferred choice of camera angle, then this trophy will be food and drink for you. However if it is not, you will have to complete 10 races whilst driving in this camera angle. You must complete the race fully, so no Crash Outs, Retirements, Disqualifications or Loss of Internet Connection. This can be achieved in any race format, whether it is Offline, Online, a 100% Race or just 3 laps. It is vital that after completing a race you press to continue the game. Do not press to restart the race, otherwise it will not record the fact that you have completed a race under the cockpit angle.
If you start a race in the wrong camera angle, you can not just pause the game and change it before the lights go out. You must change it to Cockpit beforehand when you are setting up the race. However you can change it whilst racing, by pressing to toggle camera angles, but then you must restart the race.
Note: you can not race in Cockpit Camera when racing in Split Screen Mode.
Cockpit view can be accessed via the race settings screen or just before the start of the race you can cycle through the views using the until you come the cockpit view, this is the one that looks most like you are driving the car.
Use this view for 10 complete races.
