How to unlock the Champion achievement in F1 2015 - Definitive Guide
If you want to do this as the most simple way just choose the AI to be on Very Easy difficulty and have as many assists on as you can/need and race as either Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg.
If you want to achieve it quicker do it on the shortest length.
You should be able to do this very easily on these settings.
As Sol76 mentioned this achievement pops after the final results are shown at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Skipped the races as both constructors and drivers championships were won already and it was 1 AM in the morning...
So be warned , if you have spent time playing 14-15 tracks do not skip the last ones as you may miss out on your price!
As you choose short season, you can alter your options to race 3 lap races instead of 25% distance. While your at it, you can turn off damage, reduced racing rules and parc ferme.
Set opponents to very easy and breeze through all Championship Season achievements easily.
I also discovered a huge exploit in this game. You can drive full speed into curved barriers in races like Monaco coupled with no damage and it will not slow down your speed.
Use this wherever possible to better your lap times.
This trophy is, naturally, time consuming. However, luckily it can be done on any difficulty so the trophy itself isn’t tricky. Using the Mercedes and with the AI difficulty on easy, as well as a short race weekend, this one should be easy to achieve for most – however here are a few tips:
Qualifying is crucial – on short weekend you have to participate in one shot qualifying, meaning that you only have one flying lap. Drive carefully and ensure that you don’t cut any corners or exceed track limits to set a valid lap and you should set the fastest time with a few seconds to spare
Starts – Starts are for some reason a lot harder to master on this game. Something that has always worked for me is pressing the throttle - / for most controller users - gently is the best method, before flooring it as soon as the lights go out. Ensure that you do not get bogged down (turn traction control on if you are having any issues with it off) and attempt to reach turn 1 as the leader.
Make sure you know your pit-in times. Timing your pit stop correctly could be the difference between winning the race and a podium finish. Before every race, press to check your race strategy and, if necessary, make adjustments to suit the track or your starting position.
