Yeah this is definitely glitched. I've done over 10hrs easily. Just look at the laps completed - one guy has done almost 1,000 laps. That's at least 1,500 minutes. Yet nobody has obtained this achievement? Absolutely glitched.

Seems like it is for me too. I haven't done the required time but it keeps resetting to zero.

I keep snapping the achievements and its saying "Done! Unlocking..." and nothing happens. Very strange.

Who the hell tests these games then? Retarded blind monkeys it seems? And they must be bringing out a patch for the XB1, coz the online is screwed up bad aswell, so my guess is hopefully everything should be sorted

Also, just had a look at true trophies website, 39 people have unlocked this achievement or trophy on ps4, not to sure wether its because of said patch though, hopefully so

It keeps switching from "Done , Unlocking" to 0% back and forth.
I tried signing out and back in when it said Done , Unlocking but it just won't work.
We will have to wait for some sort of patch. They should also fix the tyre strategy bug that gives you the wrong set of tyres at a pitstop if you change the default tyre strategy at the beginning of a race.

Still nothing. On the basis of how bad the issues with this game are, don't expect it fixing anytime soon unfortunately. Disappointing from Codemasters.

Not sure, I would have thought you'd need the disc and load the game up to automatically unlock it. But if other "Done..Unlocking" achievements have unlocked without said game you might be safe. I'll be in the same boat soon, I want to trade this in a few days.

It isn't. My friend who plays this on a ps4 has only played time trial and has this 'trophy'.

I've played a lot more than 600 minutes on time trial on XB1.

From reading the forums people are posting bugs with no response .... have to hope they are working on it all though

I sent them a tweet and heard nothing. I'm not feeling to good about this being fixed.

With so much other stuff still wrong with the game we should expect another patch (or two) so we can only hope they fix it in one of those really

This is pretty much the only type of game (apart from GTA) that I buy day one but this year has put me off doing that, not just this achievement but general poorness of the quality and MP matchmaking etc.

Looking at his achievements he doesn't seem to be a completionist at all and has a lot of games, so I would doubt hes a cheater. I think there must be some criteria to unlock it.

@Sean Reinhardl I've read the whole patch list in your link about things they've "fixed" but am I the only one who hasn't experienced a single one of those problems whilst playing? Neither have all the other people I know who play this game. Seems to me nobody has, but rather Codemasters have themselves found these possibilitles that may happen and have released a patch before the community notices them. More importantly the achievement hardly gets a mention. When will developers realise, for good or bad, that people actually play for achievements as well as for fun?

I guess it is time to trade this game in.

I'm always a little reluctant to cast doubts on people unlocking unobtainable achievements, but how one person can stumble across unlocking it where a couple of thousand people clocking 50-100 hours each haven't been able to doesn't look good ...

The new update just came out... I wonder if the recent patch fixed it or something.

So I messaged Chechnyan Racer asking some questions:

Did you play for over 10 hours in one go?
Did you create a new save after the latest update?
Has it said Done...Unlocking for a while already?
(This was a message I sent on XBL, I asked more in a TA message but he replied on XBL)

His response was:
Wasn't playing ten hours straight, but I haven't played a lot of F1 until recently.
Only played online races the last couple of weeks.
Could be down to not having had 10 hours on track prior to the most recent update.

So this could re-enforce the fact that a new save may help ... when I have the time I may do this unless someone tests it before me

I deleted my save and started up a 2015 championship race and it just went straight to Done...Unlocking! once the race began. I deleted it again and swapped to 2014 but it still did the same. I haven't tried reinstalling the game however.

I was going to say might have to delete everything and start from scratch .... might try it on a dummy account before doing that though so don't lose stats etc. (not that it matters to me that much)

I have a friends account on my XB1, no save data for him etc. I didn't uninstall the game or anything but played on his account for 10 hours and it's at Done...Unlocking

When this is my last achievement I'll uninstall and test again but I'm not hopeful

I have seen his card and thought the same, he responded when I messaged him and he seemed genuine to me

Im pretty sure someone has to have started the game after the patch and played 10 hours,there are "a lot" of people playing, would be impossible, so it's not the patch. Has to be some kind of specific situation, like poorly connection, some bug on the game or something like that

Comb'd through his achievements and he is 100% legit. Because of his gamertag, I'm wondering if he/she was playing the same version? ie PAL/NTSC? Maybe theres a Russian version or something? I'm going to look into it soon, after I've finished DMC4SE.

I think it's fair to assume the person who unlocked it just got super lucky, must have unlocked it by doing a weird combination of things in game that led to the achievement by complete luck. I don't think the guy's a cheater it's just an annoying, weird coincidence.

Just wanted to say that I let my friend borrow this on the weekend, he has since clocked up well over 10 hours of track time and the cheevo hasn't unlocked for him either so the theory of starting again on a new profile/save since the new patch is unfortunately a waste of time.

This is a ps4 game, just look at the achievements pictures, the bug is not on ps4 so they wont fix it. Seriously, this is my first and last codemasters game

Well, I can confirm that no patch has fixed this. This is my second time attempting this achievement on a completely separate account from my first attempt. This account had not touched this game before October 9th and it still glitched on me.

FYI - I own the first account that posted here in July, "Rossa AU5". I was using that account for about a year, but now I am back on this one, hence my second attempt at the achievement.

I first played this game on October 12 and it is glitched for me as well.
Either says done unlocking or 0%.

So another gamer just unlocked this achievement. I've already contacted him and he said that it just popped when he was driving. I don't really know what to think about it to be honest. It's getting beyond a joke this achievemen considering nothing has been done about it.

Maybe instead of 600Min is 6000min?

Does the fact that the TA score for this is the same as the GS (35), does that suggest these were not do legit?

@lankyjustin - I think the TA score is not calculated like normal because this achievement is marked as unobtainable. The two unlocks seem to be legitimate though.

I just can't see why 2 people have got this out of 3,000. If it was legit, then the flag should change to buggy and not unobtainable. Just cant see why so many haven't had it pop...and they are not forth coming with the reasons either "oh it just popped". Not saying number of hrs, when they started the game, did they start the game after the patch etc...

Anyone tried to reinstall it without patches, play offline and then switch to online, download the patches and see if it pop ?

Since the XBox is not cracked yet, the chances of these two guys have done this in an illegitimate way are slim to none.

If you start the game from scratch (delete the save) does the cheevo progression goes back to 0?

It's a good point to you made there TangerineGamer but if it was online hours then it wouldn't have "done, unlocking" for people on the achievement. Technically a lot of people do have this achievement it's just not registering on microsofts side. I don't think it's anything to do with codemasters but I could be wrong.

Its a real pain this, as once I get pro season done then I will be waiting for this one glitched chevo. Arrrrgh. Also the online 10 hrs cant be true. There are F1 youtube bloggers who must have racked up more than 10 hours online and they don't have the chevo. If they make an F1 2016, then I think it will never be fixed.

I tried messing around with it tonight, think I've actually made it worse now though....if that's possible. I got it to stop constantly saying "Done: Unlocking", but after spending around 30 mins on track it now refuses to move from 0%.

Just looked at DeadlyWilly76's achievements for this game and it makes no sense how he/she got the achievement so early. Theres no way they could have spent 600mins/10hrs on track considering the few achievements they got before this one don't take long at all. This achievement would come much later because there are plenty of ach's in Time Trial and Quick Race that would be unlocked earlier and which he/she doesn't have. I can't see how its possible for them to have spent 600mins on track without unlocking several more achievements on the way.

Sorry for the double post, but if you look at his or her achievements they only have 5 achievements before this one, so maybe if someone replicated what they did prior to them unlocking it, it could unlock? Doutbful but just curious.

I contacted them myself the other day after the "have you tried these steps" chat, I said the only one I haven't is remove and recover account (because I don't really want to)
Told him I know someone who has tried that, and of course he said to do it anyway ... thanks, might test with the other account I have on there
Also said he sent a settings refresh to my XB1, haven't had chance to turn it on since but I don't hold out hope.

Codemasters blames microsoft and ignores everything, microsoft blames codemasters and does nothing.
Microsoft wont do anything, not even if we contact support, only codemasters can solve it contacting them, but theyre more interested in f1 2016 than in fix their game

To everyone that suspects these two guys might be cheaters there is no way to cheat Xbox One achievements. They are unlocked server side and there is no way to unlock achievements offline so as of right now it is almost impossible. It would take someone with skills to actually hack MS servers and someone with skills like that probably wouldn't be wasting it on achievements.

Do you think it is possible that spending 10 hours on a certain track ' perhaps in one sitting' could unlock the achievement. I notice that the few people that have this achievement don't have any of the other laps/timed achievements linked to such tracks as Singapore, Silverstone, Red Bull ring. What I'm saying is has anyone tried sitting on one track for 600 minutes (Maybe in a certain game mode) in one sitting, I know its a lot to take on especially since it could be any of tracks but it may be worth a go, I might give it a try when I get the game back.

Yes on 360 you can hack achievements, but on the One you cant.

@DBB Klikopedia: I started this game fresh file on October 12, 2015 at 12 noon and worked through the whole day in one sitting knowing full well about this achievement being glitched. I had hoped that doing 10 hours straight would've been the trick along with a fresh account after the updates to this game... in the end, no result.
I get the same thing everyone else has mentioned. 100% done unlocking... to 0%.

One can only hope that this gets fixed. I hope it is fixed before any F1 2016 released.

Hey guys I unlocked this achievement on 11th of Jan whilst doing time trail on Singapore in a Williams, as soon as I crossed the line for lap 8 the achievement appeared.

Mind you I had moved the achievement to the top of the list today using the move to top option on the achievements app today so that maybe helped unlock the achievement?

Log in this morning and message on the true achievements site saying congratulations on my completion, it confused me.
Went to check and there it was, unlocked with a date of 16/12/2015... I'm pleased but also highly confused! Seems mircosoft fixed it

I bought this game today, ade one Race and in the GameHub its on 100% but not unlocked? Seem its still glitched

I've been keeping an eye on their Twitter but despite people telling them they haven't replied, but they must be aware.

@partyboy316 LiteralZero is the guy always replying on the forums too. He is very aware but from what I can see at the moment, there are more important bugs for them to fix.

Oh, and both PC & PS4 users have had patches. XB1 users left behind...... Not for the first time.

I wouldn't sit there specifically waiting for them to fix this, they say it's an issue at Microsoft. All we can do is keep asking about updates - most I get out of them is that it's an MS issue but won't say how it's progressing, if at all

I have done a quick experiment with the Achievements app snapped. Achievement progress starts at 0%, then I chose to do a Time Trial lap. As soon as the red lights disappear and I actually had control of the car, it immediately jumped to 100% progress and moved to the "Done, Unlocking..." status. I exited the session and went to the lap time summary screen. Then I unsnapped and re-snapped the Achievements app. With the re-snapping, it refreshed the achievements (loading icon briefly displayed), at which point progress reverted to 0%.

This suggests to me that the progress is being "forgotten" somehow. I'm not sure of the underlying processes of the Achievements app, but I assume it is sent updates from the game/app that is actually running on the console. I would also assume that if you are viewing the Achievements app in full screen mode and independently of a running game/app, that all unlocks/progress you see are what is stored by Microsoft at their end.

So maybe Microsoft is forgetting the progress at their end and they need to fix it. But it would be nice for Codemasters to be a bit more transparent and proactive about it on our behalf.

However, all of the above is disregarding that sometimes achievement unlock retrospectively (for example, as part of a title update for a game) for some gamers without them even loading the game up again. Hmm...

Almost 6 months since release and still not fixed! Codemasters really have shot themselves in the foot, was so excited for this game but it's a flop. Yeah it looks nice but the previous patch created more issues than it solved and because of the ai constantly ramming you off track it's not fun to play until they sort it out. PS4 had their version patched about 2 weeks ago, while we XB1 users left waiting even longer now. So many people have given up on this game because of condemasters inability to fix a broken game that was full of bugs from the word go. And their promise of live updates seemed a stretch too far for them. I guess I live in hope that this patch will fix it and get me playing the game again, as I really want to be glued to it like the previous f1 games.

Haven't popped it yet, but the achievement progress bar, which was previously locked, is now showing 66% which is probably about right for the amount of time I've spent on track. Wasn't like that a couple of days ago - possible something to do with the XBox update as the game itself hasn't updated recently (I think)
