How to unlock the Pack Leader achievement in F1 2015 - Definitive Guide

There is a faster way of doing this achievement than doing 150 entire laps. That said, you will still need to do things properly for these three achievements, so get these out of the way first:
F1 2015Points Mean PrizesThe Points Mean Prizes achievement in F1 2015 worth 38 pointsScore 75 Constructors' Championship points in Quick Race mode.

F1 2015Pole PositionThe Pole Position achievement in F1 2015 worth 44 pointsTake 10 poles in Quick Race mode.

F1 2015Stirling JobThe Stirling Job achievement in F1 2015 worth 76 pointsWin 3 races at Monaco in Quick Race mode.

Doing the above will put some progress on this for you already. Now, you'll likely have this along with these two achivements remaining in Quick Race mode:
F1 2015Stay on These RoadsThe Stay on These Roads achievement in F1 2015 worth 36 pointsComplete 50 clean laps in Quick Race mode.

F1 2015Putting in the LapsThe Putting in the Laps achievement in F1 2015 worth 43 pointsComplete 200 laps in Quick Race mode.

In theory, this requires you to complete 200 laps in Quick Race, 150 of them in first place. Thankfully, there's a faster way.

1. Load up a track of your choice as a team of your choice. I advise a European track (Austria is nice and easy) so you can also make progress towards:
F1 2015The Final CountdownThe The Final Countdown achievement in F1 2015 worth 115 pointsDrive 500 laps on European tracks in any game mode.

2. Put One-Shot qualifying on, and qualify in first place. Make sure Flashbacks are turned on and that Autosave is also on. Race distance doesn't matter.

3. Do one clean lap of the actual race, making sure you cross the line in first place at the end of the lap. Then, as soon as you've crossed the line (it doesn't have to be instantly, say within 5 seconds of crossing the line), pause it and create a mid-session save.

4. Restart the session. This puts you back on the grid at the start of the race.

5. Once the lights go out and the race starts pause the game and reload the previous mid-session save. Then, from a point before you cross the finishing line, resume the race.

6. Cross the finishing line, which will add a lap's worth of progress to all of the above achievements.

Repeat steps 4-6. You don't need to create a new save after the initial one - just keep restarting the session and reloading the save, then crossing the finishing line in the race. It will still take a while, but it's far faster than doing all 200 laps needed.

It sounds weird but I got this while playing Qualifying in Quick Start Mode. I don't know whether it makes a difference when you are P1 at this moment (I was P1, did one more lap, did not improve but got the achievement). This should just show you that you can get this without really expecting it!

You’ll need to lead 150 laps in quick race mode for this to unlock. Of course, all these laps have to be completed in race sessions, so practice and qualifying sessions do not count. The trophy states ‘Stay out’, so instead of actually crossing the line in 1st place you will have to stay in 1st for the whole of each lap you lead. Go to Austria and pick the Mercedes, with the AI difficulty on very easy. Set the race distance to 100% and lead from the front. To unlock the trophy, you need to do 150 laps, so for this trophy you will have to do 3 separate races around Austria for this to unlock.
