How to unlock the Putting in the Laps achievement in F1 2015 - Definitive Guide
Doing the above will put some progress on this for you already. Now, you'll likely have this along with these two achivements remaining in Quick Race mode:
In theory, this requires you to complete 200 laps in Quick Race, 150 of them in first place. Thankfully, there's a faster way.
1. Load up a track of your choice as a team of your choice. I advise a European track (Austria is nice and easy) so you can also make progress towards:
2. Put One-Shot qualifying on, and qualify in first place. Make sure Flashbacks are turned on and that Autosave is also on. Race distance doesn't matter.
3. Do one clean lap of the actual race, making sure you cross the line in first place at the end of the lap. Then, as soon as you've crossed the line (it doesn't have to be instantly, say within 5 seconds of crossing the line), pause it and create a mid-session save.
4. Restart the session. This puts you back on the grid at the start of the race.
5. Once the lights go out and the race starts pause the game and reload the previous mid-session save. Then, from a point before you cross the finishing line, resume the race.
6. Cross the finishing line, which will add a lap's worth of progress to all of the above achievements.
Repeat steps 4-6. You don't need to create a new save after the initial one - just keep restarting the session and reloading the save, then crossing the finishing line in the race. It will still take a while, but it's far faster than doing all 200 laps needed.
For this one you need to complete 200 clean laps of any combination of tracks in Quick Race mode. The laps have to be clean – I made this mistake myself for the 50 lap trophy when I had easily passed 50 completed laps, before finding that there is a race director function in the pause menu. This details every incident that has taken place in any session of a race weekend – all incidents incur at least a warning which will invalidate your lap. I raced on Silverstone for the ‘It’s All About Time’ trophy and noticed that the race director was very harsh on what was and what wasn’t a warning (mostly for exceeding track limits around Copse, as a touch of kerb incurred a warning). Therefore you’ll have to be careful about how you drive – check the race director every 5 or so laps to ensure that the game is registering your laps as clean ones. Once you have completed 200 laps, this trophy will unlock.
