Did you create weather and not just select weather as rain? Must create your own

"Create weather" is so important. I tried 3 times and failed until I read the comments and watched the video closely. Great videos!!! Thnx.

Create a new Grand Pris race. For the weather choose Custom, then below select to create a Custom Weather scenario. Make any desired changes in there, then go back and proceed with the race. I had selected a short 3 lap race in a Williams car. Finish the race and you will receive the achievement after you click to proceed after the results window. I won the race, but that shouldn't be required.

In the settings menu go to the weather settings using and select 'Custom Weather Settings'. Choose one of the weather conditions and go and complete a race for this easy trophy. To save yourself some time, you should pick the Bahrain or Abu Dhabi (Yas Marina) circuit and select heavy rain to also obtain the Like the deserts miss the rain... trophy.
