How to unlock the Competitive Streak achievement in F1 2017 - Definitive Guide
To do this you will need to take part in Public Multiplayer races, and earn XP after each one.
You earn XP for doing various things, such as:
> Finishing a race.
> Finishing in the top half of the field.
> Winning a race.
> Finishing on the Podium.
> Having a penalty-free race.
etc.
You can also earn XP for completing various Milestones, such as:
> Reaching a certain number of races completed.
> Reaching a certain number of races won.
> Reaching a certain number of kilometers driven.
etc.
XP cannot be earned in the Online Championships or Custom Game portions of Multiplayer, which means there are no ways to shortcut this Achievement. You'll just have to grind it out and if you're fast/lucky enough you'll get more XP on average per race as the skill gaps between players seems quite high so far.
Along the way you will also unlock the following:
Good luck.

The advice is right, just play in multiplayer (public match) and get to level 25, done.

Hey guys! I will try to explain to you what you have to do to gain the maximum amount of XP.
You will need to play Open Lobbies to gain XP which equals the famous Sprint Mode. In this mode you will likely have random people which do not hesitate to crash into you quite often. If this happens: Don't quit, you will gain at least 3000XP after each 5 lap sprint race anyways.
To have 5 lap races put the bar all the way to the left to ensure short races. This may not be the fastest way but the most exciting way since you often play different tracks (and sometimes even cars). 5 lap races take 8 minutes average depending on how quick the drivers are.
You can also put the bar all the way to the right which will lead to a 50% race. I did a 50% race once in Sprint Mode and it gave me approximately 32000XP including bonuses. 50% races take 45 minutes average.
How you perform does only influence the XP bonus areas which will be visible after each race or while you are in the lobby.
I would suggest playing 5 lap races earlier throughout the achievement progress since you reach the first bonuses quite quickly. Some of them depend on skill for sure. But later on the 50% race gives you more XP in comparison to 5 lap races regarding time consumption.
Happy racing

Sometimes you only get a 25% race when the bar is moved all the way to the right. It's luck of the draw.
