Just unlocked ok for me after the final race of season 1

I've got the chevo after the last race at Yas Marina.

The chevo for winning the championship pop when I had enough points, after the race in Russia.

I'm wondering if you have to Complete the last race and not sim it, I was way ahead on points, still no acheivement. I try tomorrow.

done the f2 feeder series, skipped the last race with simulation cause I've already won the drivers and constructors championship

Glitched for me also, I didn't skip the last race either

Third time trying, does not unlock. I did skip a few races, simmed them as I had enough points, did the last race, nothing, do you have to Complete every race? It's glitched on ps4 too. Same thing. Needs sorting out.

From what i gather i think u have to beat both of them in all 21 races over the season

I did every race and finished ahead of them in every race and it popped 4 me so you definately have to beat them both in every one of the 21 races no simulating

Fuck this achievement.... I even turned Autosave off before Abu Dhabi race and have now attempted this more than 20 times...

Simulated Abu Dhabi race... no pop
Won the Abu Dhabi race + flashbacks... no pop
Won the Abu Dhabi race (no flashbacks)... no pop
Won the Abu Dhabi race (no penalties + no flashbacks)... no pop

Like wtf does it take? I took pole and have won at every single race (THAT IMPLIES I HAVE BEATEN THEM BOTH IN EVERY SINGLE RACE)... got the maximum 546pts, both titles, Weber finished on 50pts and Butler had big fat 0.

How does some people have this unlocked and most don't... this is bullshit. Should just make it unavailable to pop for everyone

What about people's time and electricity trying this achievement, it takes a good few hours, apparently code masters have been developing this game for last two years. Not done a good job at it, quick enough at getting people's money, it's same on playstation too. Glitched, sort it out code masters.

Popped for me after Abu Dhabi on my second season.

Didn’t skip any races or quali sessions, only skipping P2 & P3. Beat them both in at least one ‘rivalry’ in said season.


All races:
P1 complete.
P2 skipped.
P3 skipped.
Q1, Q2 & Q3 complete.
Race (25%) complete.

Of course, I beat them in every session I took part in too.

Did exactly the same in first season but it didn’t pop then. Defo glitched.

NB: Also, I didn’t take part in any post race events (like checkpoint etc).

After patch 1.06 i simmed most races, finished above both drivers and the achievement popped, safe to say the bug has been fixed

You probably failed to get it because you skipped the last race. I got the achievement with no trouble. It pops during the interview after the race. Skipping the race probably bypasses the achievement trigger point.

I never simulated any of my races and finished ahead of those guys in every race. I also made sure to do the feeder series. One would think that the way the achievement description is worded, all you need to do is finish higher than both of them in the final standings at the end of the season. I’m glad it popped fine for me. It might simply be that the achievement is simply buggy in that it will pop for some people and not for others. The likelihood of that being the case is greater when you consider that there are 3 other achievements that nobody in the world has unlocked.
