F1 2020

Just did it with a C1 car (2010 Ferrari F10), and it popped for me on the Championship summary screen after the last race. So you have to win the Championship outright and not just in your class. Even with AI at 0, I could not accumulate any points driving a C2 car.

Also, you do not need complete every race. With 1st place getting 10 points and 2nd getting 6 points, you will have a 16 point lead going into the fifth and final race if the same driver gets 2nd to you every time. After the race starts in the fifth race, select Start then 'Retire from Session'. If the same driver who was in second in points gets first in the final race, you will still win the Championship by 6 points.

If you are sure you will get first each time, you can actually skip any of the five. I skipped Spa just because it is the longest, and I still got the Achievement. I also skipped Spa (4th race) because I was up by 14 points on 2nd and 22 points on 3rd, and if I got lucky, I could have skipped two races if I was still up by more than 10 points going into the last race. I do not know what would happen if you tied in points after the last race.

I had all six unlocked from the start also. I did the 'Legendary Tracks Classic' and chose the 1990 Ferrari F1-90, which is in the slower C2 class. Even though I finished first in my class in the Championship, I did not beat the C1 class, and I did not get the Achievement. I will try again with a faster car and report back. From the car select screen, you cannot tell which car is in which class, but it is safe to assume the newer cars (to the right) are faster.
